In this video I talk about some things that have happened to me over the past week. Rod tha I mentioned: Lamiglas X-11 10'6" Salmon Steel Rod LX106HCGH www.fishusa.com/Lamiglas-X11-...
I like the GoPro 4 black. I started with a 1, have 2 3's, but the 4 is so much better!!! Glad it was returned to you. I lost my original 1, but I doubt anyone ever found it in the bottom of the river. I found one of my 3's to replace the 1 that swam off, but never found the owner. Sorry about you other loss...
Awwww, man, I loved that pole and seeing you working it. Then that Okuma??? But, let’s stay positive and take the win for kindness, honesty, and integrity from a complete stranger.
I hear you, brother. I lost my big trophy landing net last weekend, and then the next day dropped one of my favorite rodas and reels over board my kayak in deep water. When it rains, it pours!
Keep your head up! I dock in little creek and my boat got robbed for about $4K in gear. I haven’t been able to recover or fish this season. Glad to see you get your GoPro back.
I'm really glad someone found your GoPro, good thing happen to good people! I bet in the end, something great will come from breaking a rod and losing a setup. Take care and be safe.
Gosh...What a rare experience because people are a trip these days...Good for you and the finder, because the greatest blessing is that you guys are gonna know each other for Life.....and BTW, since we're being HONEST, are you showing off your shop and it's contents too😂😂😂😂😂.....Keep it up Brother
Sucks about the gear bud. I had the same rod you have built last year by a local rod builder. God I love that thing. You can really pull a sheep out from the pilings. You should also be getting a call from a buddy of mine named Dave Wiley. He is looking to get back into fishing and sheep’s in particular and I told him there isn’t anyone better than you. Good luck the rest of the season.
Man you got lucky it wasn't smashed into a million pieces lol Glad you got it back and sorry for the loss of the others....sucks! I always look forward to your videos and have learned a ton from you! Thank you for sharing your knowledge about fishing, especially sheep's! Between you and EliasV I'm always ready for learning and not a load of clickbait mess. Straight to the point and informative and I'm a better fisherman now because of yall! Thank you, BillyB
If you’re looking to try a new rod, Raven Tackle makes a 12’6 spiral wrapped baitcaster salmon rod and an 11’6 spiral wrapped baitcaster steelhead rod (lighter action). I bet either one would make a great sheepshead rod!
My story, went to Harris Lake and the first trip, I lost two rods and reels overboard to white bass. The next time, I came in to the dock too fast in the wind and destroyed my trolling motor head. Had to get a new one. The third trip, I was in the boat and the wind was rocking. I fell on one of my windshields and broke it. Had to get a new one. Haven't been back to Harris since then, I only fish Jordan Lake now! So far, so good.
Hey, I've been there before. Cell phones overboard, losing a rod... I'm not enjoying your misery but it's kinda nice to know when you're not the only one that has these things happen.
Saw you out with a charter at lynnhaven 6-17. You were the only one I saw actually haul in a flounder among the 400 boats that day. The wind and hail in that storm that rolled through Friday was impressive to say the least. I'm just saying it stinks you had a bad week but it coulda been worse. 😆 Tight lines.
Sorry about that my friend I lost one $180 Dollars rod last week when I was on vacations in Outer Banks it was like 4ft deep I spent almost 1 hour but finally found it I know how you feel about your lost 😢 sorry

Yeah I'm going to miss it. I'm planning on building one similar this winter, but it still won't be the original Big Jigger lol

Yeah we all have our bad days and losses, I always try to keep in my mind that it could be a lot worse and that helps lol

Cool! I plan on getting into that, and already have all the stuff to do it. But probably going to be a winter project
