I’m watching this the night before I go to start in Anesthetics from a surgical ward. I’m really really scared as I have always regarded aneasthetics as the specialty for very smart people and I don’t think k I’m that brilliant. I wanted Scrub because I’m good with my hands and step by step procedures but they said I can do that later.
Thanks for this and the other video you made about benefits of being a nurse in anaesthetic department. I pray it will go well.

Hello Deo🌺I will also like you to talk about perioperative nursing in. The uk and how to wrk as a perioperative nurse in the United Kingdom without a prior wrking experience.
I would really love this ma
It's the same as mention in the video💙💙
So I am already a perioperative nurse from my home country, while applying to the uK can I apply as a perioperative nurse or I should start applying as an adult nurse?
@@omasorostella333 if you have your nmc pin as an adult nurse you can apply for periop roles
@@NurseDeo okay
Now I I understand
So from Nigeria I should apply for a band 5 adult Nurse first then after acquiring my nmc pin, I can then go ahead to apply for that post
Am not still sure which specialty I would want to take, still abit confused but all
Same, I will have to look at it.
Take it one day at a time💙
Is Wrightington Wigan and Leigh Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation among the NHS hospital that offer anesthetic nurse associate program?

Thank you Captain for this video, my question is do you have to quit your present job role before applying for the trainee Anesthetic nurse role?
No after you secure the role
@@NurseDeo Alright thank you so much
@@NurseDeo Alright, another question, after the trainee nurse anesthetic course, does that qualify you to be an Anesthetic Associate?
Hi Deo, congratulations for landing the role! I just wanted to ask what sort of questions that they’ve asked you during your interviews?
Haaaa I forgot to add this part but they were Mostly clinical Scenario questions
Thank you for watching 💙💙💙
Thank you so much for this video. Please what do you mean by a first degree? More clarification..
First degree
thank you for this useful video ,i am anesthetist who currently works on government institution in Ethiopia (Africa ) , how can i go and works as anesthetist in USA AND UK ,

Hi can I become an anesthesia associate from studying adult nursing
Yes
Hi I have experience in theatre as an Anaesthetic nurse for 4 years now ,I only have my IELTS results, can I apply?
Apply for what?
For Anaesthetic nursing
Will an AA (who studied in the UK) get accredited in the USA?
As much as I know, AA Ain’t so much of a thing in the USA
Hey, bro are studying AAin uk??
What’s the difference between an anaesthesia associate and anaesthesia nurse
Do you have an answer for this?
I explained in the video
Any advice to a person who is just a carer in the uk who wants to do nursing?
Yes, do it💙
Thanks
Is it the same with theatre nursing
No
But if you're coming into the UK as a band 5 nurse but want to specialize as a periop nurse what do you do
@@preciousodoh9009 you apply
@@NurseDeo can u explain more
Is it like when your applying for a job newly when coming into the UK for the first time or will you need to work in different areas for a particular time when u come newly to the UK before you can now later apply for the periop nurse role
Thanks for the info Nurse Deo... I'm currently searching for top up BSc nursing degrees in the UK. Any ideas?
University of Sunderland, University of derby, Birmingham, UWE etc
Hey deo, what if one has a bsc in another field but acquire Msc in adult nursing can one still apply for this role?
If you’re a registered adult nurse with NMC Uk you should be able to apply for the role
Yes you can 💙
hello nurse deo, can I ask what they usually ask during interview in ODP/ anaesthetic?
They’ll ask things you’ll get in a normal interview,, with airway management, first aids and emergency stuffs
Ma'am , after completing BSN ,which branch should l choose in masters to become a CRNA anesthetic

I was a dialysis nurse in my country, moved here and got placed as an orthopaedic nurse. If I go back to haemodialysis now, would there be any chance to get considered as a trainee after my 3 years of post-registration experience has been acquired? I want to work towards this as early as now and gain the relevant experience and knowledge on the way there. I know I'm ranting but I want to follow a pathway and get in the right area, whether thats in ITU, CCU, etc. I want a role that is challenging and I think being an anaesthesia associate is the way to go. One more thing about being an anaesthesia associate, what other progressions are there beyond it? Thank you Nurse Deo for all the info
It depends on the hospital and school you'll be applying to, all the information in this video are what I am sure of
I wish you the best, thank you💙
Hi pls what do you think would be the preferred specialization for an anesthesia associate
I did state them in the video
hi nurse deo i will be graduating my msc in nursing next year (bsc in clinical psychology), how would it work in my case? would i need to apply as a anaesthetic nurse first and gain some experience?
I’ll think so😊
I have questions...what about people they studed 4 years technical anaesthesia
I do not know about that
I am interested to relocate. I am a cameroonian about to finish my master program in Anesthesia here in Cameroon

Is there a difference between Anaesthetic Associate and CRNA??
They are two different qualification with the same scope of practice
Why does Google say the average salary for an anaesthesia associate is £90k
Because that’s the average?
@@NurseDeo That's incorrect. Are you sure thats in GBP? Not even an anaesthetic doctor earns that much in the UK...
That's incorrect. Are you sure thats in GBP? Not even an anaesthetic doctor earns that much in the UK...
@@psps2034 Do you realize what average means? And do you realize not everyone works for the NHS? Ask your anesthetist they will tell you how much they earn especially if they are on call.
@@NurseDeo average means 50% of ppl earn above 90k which is incorrect. A consultant anaesthetist is on 84k. So there is no way that half of all anaesthetic nurses are on 90k . Only a small proportion of staff work privately so the figure of 90k is incorrect if that’s in GBP. I am an anaesthetist and I do oncalls like most doctors do. We would love to have an average wage of 90k GBP lol. Infact , all nurses would love to be on an average of 90k .
hi, so the 3 years full time does not include agency work?
