I was a dialysis nurse in my country, moved here and got placed as an orthopaedic nurse. If I go back to haemodialysis now, would there be any chance to get considered as a trainee after my 3 years of post-registration experience has been acquired? I want to work towards this as early as now and gain the relevant experience and knowledge on the way there. I know I'm ranting but I want to follow a pathway and get in the right area, whether thats in ITU, CCU, etc. I want a role that is challenging and I think being an anaesthesia associate is the way to go. Hello John, as much as I know you still need your hospital to be affiliated with the school in order for them to accept your applications because you need to complete some clinical portfolio. Do you work in scrubs or anaesthetics?
@@psps2034 Do you realize what average means? And do you realize not everyone works for the NHS? Ask your anesthetist they will tell you how much they earn especially if they are on call.
@@NurseDeo average means 50% of ppl earn above 90k which is incorrect. A consultant anaesthetist is on 84k. So there is no way that half of all anaesthetic nurses are on 90k . Only a small proportion of staff work privately so the figure of 90k is incorrect if that’s in GBP. I am an anaesthetist and I do oncalls like most doctors do. We would love to have an average wage of 90k GBP lol. Infact , all nurses would love to be on an average of 90k .

You can come in as a medical doctor then find your way. Most hospitals will only employ anesthetist with uk experience.
