    Purchased this last week and am thrilled with the results. No more dead spots, solid fast signal, and range everywhere! I have tried others in the past with little if any results. This one actually works, and works great! I highly recommend it. Setup was easy as well.

    I am currently using this at my double storey 2300 sq ft home and it works perfectly. My Internet subscription is for 100mbps and I get almost full speed around the house. I also like the parental control feature very much.

    Hmm, seems pretty legit, and definitly one of the more economical mesh systems. I need to get a system for my Mom, this looks like it will do fine for her.

    Nice review. Thinking about getting this. One question, does it automatically switch between 2.4g and 5g network or I have to select which one to use? Is a 700sq feet apartment can still benefit from using this mesh router?

    I have 2. One connected in home to router on 2nd floor of open loft. The 2nd one is outside in our RV about 150 feet away. Sometimes it works perfect for hours to watch Netflix, Wi-Fi, etc other times it won’t detect deco and won’t reboot. It’s driving me nuts. Should I order another one to put on back patio. To extend to the rv?

    Dude this a router why would you connect it to another router? Are you making a video for double routers? Or you hooking this up to a modem for internet? I am confused

    • @kongvue5160
      @kongvue5160 4 года назад

      It's both. It can act as an Access point for your existing router.

    what internet speeds do you pay for through xfinity because they seem to choke your speeds sometimes. do you pay for 120 up or is that just what you are getting independent from what you are paying for?

  • @ekummel
    @ekummel 4 года назад

    You say that your wireless speeds are 100~ down and 30~ up. If you plug into the wired port, what kind of speeds to you get with that? And what kind of speeds do you get if you connect directly to your comcast xfinity router? Just trying to get an idea if there is any loss of speed between your xfinity router and this mesh router.

    Any ideas on why my Deco is only pushing 30mpbs and at night time it hits 120-180mbps? My phone gets 220mbps every time while on the wifi. If my PC is connected through wired... it gets a nice 250mpbs. No clue whats going on.

    I need to access the 2.4 . my cameras won't use the 5. how can I get them connected? once they're connected they stay connected but I can't get there. I do see an option to use only the 2.4 but most everything I use is using the 5g. remember having to walk quite a ways from my house to get the 2.4 - but my cameras are USB to household current and I don't have any way to get standard power away from my house.

  • @rayalav

    On the 2nd Deco, you just need to plug the power and the app will detect it? Or you need to connect the 2nd deco to the wired connection?

    • @kincadedm
      @kincadedm 5 лет назад +2

      Every Deco after the first, just follow the app instructions; plug in ac adapter for additional Deco, wait for blue flashing light and use app to connect it to the mesh. No wired connection needed.

    • @mediocritycentral
      @mediocritycentral 4 года назад

      wired connection is not required for the slave Decos but I'd still recommend having them wired to get full speeds and stability.

    • @mediocritycentral

      not much of a difference. If I have to pick one, definitely the M5.
      the M4 uses WiFi to connect to each other (the Decos with each other). the M5 uses Bluetooth.

      The mesh is meant to divide the total wifi to different areas in the house so 16 seems about right
