Michael's views on the Divine were fascinating - he described himself as an evolutionary pan-en-theist, which means he believes that the Divine is present not only in the physical world but also in a transcendent order. He expressed a Dual Aspect monist notion of the mental and the physical being complementary (though irreducible to one another), meaning that he sees reality as being both mental and physical. Whilst rejecting the ‘mindless’ reductionism of physicalism/materialism. Overall, his ideas were very interesting and thought-provoking. This makes a lot of sense to me....I am looking forward to hearing the conversation between Rupert Sheldrake and Alex-Gomez Marin on Thursday, January 11, 2024, at the Pari Center (online)!
