Nobel Sid3 To anyone wondering, whether the above link, posted by "nobel sid" leads to some video with an review of crossfader's courses or something on subject like online dj schools. No, it doesn't. Guy just shamelessly promotes his short edm mix made with an ipad or something. Cringe.
The first 3 minutes are just insane. What skill and preparation there is behind a video like this. I wish I could, at least, try to do a 1/1000 of this.
Bro you can...get yourself a DDJ400 for $250 USD, a laptop that has at least an I5 processor, 8gb of ram, and 128GB SSD. Install Rekordbox that comes with the controller, download the songs and keep rewatching this video and practice....its work but its worth it.
I agree, controller doesn't matter, as far as you know what effects and tracks he used. I just purchase DDJ1000 as my 1st controller. I went to purchase DDJ800 but ended up with DDJ1000
Got DDJ 400 and I mix mainly Drum and Bass and the drum and bass part of this video is not that hard. Its just preparation. I think after a year of practicing you will be able to do this.I am not definitely some Dj superstar. I just do it for myself at home :D
Man this is such a great way to present things.. the overhead view and the screen capture. My transitions have gone stale.. but when I see idea shown like this, the workflow, and organisation it puts it within reach of anyone that wants to try. "oh I saw this done and I'm standing looking at the same tools they used to pull it off, LET'S DO THIS"
literally where I am rn, i know im very much a novice but the creative industry has been so good to my mental health lately and its because of this kind of thing. much love musos
A mix like this would be extremely hard to do live without having it all pre-planned out like this is. Still very good of course but it would be very hard to free-style a set like this. Also very good techniques being displayed, thank you for that.
This is a prepped set. And some DJ’s can go into a rehearsed set when they run into a song that they’ve practiced with before. It just comes with experiences
they dont select songs randomly but the ones that mix good together. They rehearse. They use key synch. So they are not as skilled as it sounds like. Dont blame yourself
I started this video right before taking a dump, after I finished watching, I could not remember taking the actual dump. I’m flabbergasted 😧🥵 man, this is unbelievable! Deep bow for you wizard! What a talent you are!
I was blown away by this mix. There were so many different elements that made this mix colorful and innovative. Definitely, have to step my game up!! Wow... Great contetn.
Like your music feeling good. Always find from you an escape from a rigid way to mix tunes. Thanks for the content. Always inspires to do it a different way :) Btw always love when you put stuff from not so known labels, missing that "UK" music vibe, back home :)
There's one reason I think that wouldn't really work... Luke improvises. Crossfader doesn't improvise in these videos (that's why they sound so freaking good) so it doesn't really make that much sense, at least not as much as in luke videos
I hope some day I can get this good mixing and producing my own music. I kind of grown tired of playing traditional rock and punk music on guitar, bass, and drums.
For me the most useful tip was with regards to the FX, currently on the DDJ-400 with the we are crossfader rekordbox beginner course and this gave some insight. #wearecrossfader keep up the great work
Wow you can make this sing. I been playing with mine for 4 hours and never touched those effects. I've got mine plugged into a new pair of rokit krk6 speakers and the eq's are mega sensitive. Been struggling with the fader curve as well but think I've got it evened out. This was great Thanks

SONGS PLZZZZZZ
Thank you for just mixing the tracks. DJ ramble is the worst! Some pretty click tight triggering in there. Nice.

the 89.96 bpm is making me paranoid XD

Thats Why DJ and Producing are 2 different things... and hav to paid to respect.
A good DJ is same good as a sick producer..
Respect each other.
But it's hard to see a good (even decent) dj on a normal club. I agree, a GOOD dj is so pleasant, there is art in mixing when done well
@Y2kSd4 i disagree, the discussion is not about economy.
Is it possible to be both good dj and producer ? Because maybe I wanna be both
i had a stroke reading this lmao

I consider myself a decent DJ, but my mind doesn’t work quick enough to do anything as skilled as this. Fair play to you sir
Might be a prepared set/routine
This is a prepped set. And some DJ’s can go into a rehearsed set when they run into a song that they’ve practiced with before. It just comes with experiences
Practice bro. I also was a not fast skilled dj. Now im a pro
Practice ;)

That opening mix, first 2 minutes are pure gold
The first two min needs to be an actual recorded mashup. I literally play it all the time. Such good work you guys do!
3:27 holyyyyyyyyyy🤯
goosebump
That transition into Swish was fire. I'm definitely gonna look at those online courses now
That was Really impressive, club would go mad
@@Fahd5499 Without a doubt, that's the kind of mixing that made me want to start DJing
Yeah that was smooth af
fr i was watching like "ok its a good practiced routine" then my eyes went wide when he transitioned into it, people wouldve lost it
tbh this is the best one you've done in a while
yeh

Lots if great techniques displayed here. Really enjoyed the mixing and different transitions made...digging the song selection too!
what in the worlddddd. i know nothing about dj. but wow the skills and time this must take is insane to mix so flawlessly
@10:00 - 10:50 the TRANSITION
Seriously so well done
My favorite part 🔥
Diggin the Drum and Bass vibes. Love that track. In the city where the sun don’t set!
Thank you for posting this, it gives me a lot of ideas about doing chips with hot cues. Big ups
i just started out mixing mostly minimal techno like plexos or flozy and watching this makes me kinda think i'l never be good lol awsome work
Wow the way you use those effects ❤️ and what a beauty of your transitions skill 👍🏻 too good.
That transition @ 6:47 is nuts!
The transition and scratching at 3:20 is so nasty. I love it!
Man that's a good set plan and skill! Respect!
Appreciate it! Thank you very much
Wow! That's impressive, enjoyable and danceable! Congratulations.
one of the best dj performances I ever saw. you have my respect !!!!
My favourite #SundayDJSkills so far,man I've listened this so many times, love it

Bro the transition between Taki Taki and Swish was nasty damn
that Pioneer ddj 1000 is too clean 😍😍😍
The mix is fire!!!!
Me encanta SundaySkils, sigan así chicos. Y más con la integración de temas latinos actualmente populares. Cada semana aprendo algo nuevo con ustedes.

Damn bro you do it so clean ❤
WTFFF!!!! Man. You’re crazy 🔥 I’m hyped with this part... 10:10 Holly shitt
Taki transition to Swish. Awesome!
really awesome
Half of that in the beginning was unnecessary but it does demonstrate the values of planning loops. Cheers for the display :)
3:30 scratches=🔥
Interesting Mix!! Good Job!
Wow its really cool, i like it. good job!
hats off to you man.. that was an awesome mix.. not my usual listen but liked it man nice skillset
The intro is soooooo fucking clean it’s insane
That dnb mix east side is so good
It's awesome !!!
The redbull dj of portable dj equipment
impressive mixing, love the music choice :)
Dope Mix! 👌🏽
Bro i come here just for eastside
That mashuo up still cleanest one around
Would be amazing if you could make time to create a full track
what you've done from 3:10 to 3:40 was crazy good
Ohh my god bruv this is my goal i need to practice. I vow to obsess over my passion from this point on thank you man
The first 2:30 of this is one of my all time favorite intros to a DJ mix
3:27 boooom!!! Great!
a thing of beauty *chefs kiss
Amazing!
Damm, these are solid skills.
Pleasure in just looking on set like this.
Dope mix! Only thing that could improve it is if you explained what you were doing with text, like Laidback Luke does in his "in my mind" videos.
There's one reason I think that wouldn't really work... Luke improvises.
Crossfader doesn't improvise in these videos (that's why they sound so freaking good) so it doesn't really make that much sense, at least not as much as in luke videos
As nice as that would be...thats why they charge you for the courses lol
@@Brooklyn1530 yeah gotta make money some way
Still coming to this mix for the best eastside mashup ever
thats, great, like for the creativity and the song picks
damn man!!! This video gave me a lot of ideas for what I should do instead of just standing there
Это просто какое-то сумасшествие!!! Уровень Бог!👍
THING WITH MASTER TEMPO AWESOME omg! SO SIMPLE BUT HOW EFFECTIVE. ONE HOUR OF SUCH PLAYING AND THE BRAIN IS BURNING . and 10:00 LOOPS ITS SO AMAZING
Excellent mix!
