    Great story bro, sad but yeah I never went door to door but I did drive around many times looking for decent spots to cast from the banks…and I got fed up 😂
    Got myself the bass raider last year…it’s complete freedom to just enjoy the sport on your terms.

    Hi Jett. The yellow rope on rhe front. If u put a rubber hose on the rope. It won't wear out as much😎

    Got the same boat. I’ve got a Mercury 2.5 outboard on order hopefully shipping here soon. Minn kota 30lb thrust on the front. I’m hoping to find a jet ski trailer for decent that I can modify to be the bass raider full time trailer. They’re awesome boats. Has yours been pretty durable? Any leaks that have given you problems?

    • @fishingwithjett5373
      @fishingwithjett5373  9 месяцев назад +1

      Yes, my raider has held up through hundreds of outings on the water. I've never had any problems with leaks, I've gone a entire year without checking my hull for water. When I finally did all that came out was a couple drops basically nothing. I will say it's probably a result of me storing mine in the garage. If you plane on storing it outside I recommend finding a really good tarp. Thanks for watching 👍🏾

    How did you install your 7 inch pedestals

    • @fishingwithjett5373
      @fishingwithjett5373  2 года назад

      Take your original pedestal that came with your boat remove the bottom nuts, bolts and brackets from the base. You don't have to take off your seat keep it attached. Using the same nuts, bolts and brackets attach your 7-inch extension pedestal onto the base. Once it's attached to the base, place the original pedestal and seat on top of the 7-inch pedestal. You're going to need to 4 short bolts just long enough to allow you to screw on lock washers on each bolt. Make sure not to use to long of a bolt it will interfere with 360 degrees rotation of the seat. After that you should be all set, Craig.

    Hey Jett. I like the video..I just picked up a 3.5 merc for my Bass Raider & Utility trailer. I have a question re trailering your boat w/ the motor on or off the boat? Do you have some kind of tie down for the lower unit of the motor or transom saver or is there no need to be concerned?

    • @fishingwithjett5373
      @fishingwithjett5373  2 года назад +1

      Hi Kerry, I appreciate you checking out my video. I'll be honest I've not tried any kind of transom saver or tie down. Only once have I kept my motor attached to my PBR while traveling. I didn't use either and had no worries with it hitting anything. It's just I didn't feel comfortable leaving it on. So I always take my motor off when traveling. Everyone is different, so I encourage you to do whatever makes you feel truly comfortable. I'm actually planning on releasing my 2 plus years review on my Pelican Bass Raider.

      No sir I've not had any issues at all with leaking. I think it all depends on how you store your boat at home.
