      Growing to become Budget airlines to compete with Airasia (with the lousy 737 800 (Winglet) design with flat hard seat and heat insulating. No in flight entertainment screen and you rely on connections to the wireless IFE at always not working (8 out of 10 failure to connect even the flight attendance reset them). Malaysia airlines should focus on their current product (mess in catering, and seats comfortability and customer experience) rather introducing all these non sense package or product. Why should we pay more if your product is the same as Airasia?

    Your airline should restart European sector especially in Paris , Amsterdam, Frankfurt , Rome & Zurich . It is well known airline in Europe during late 70 ,80 & 90 .it is a blunder mistake to return your A 380 coz at this moment the demand of travelling is very high . You can use A 380 from kl route frankfurt transit & to Newark New Jersey or John f Kennedy in New York or from kl to Amsterdam transit then to New York . Your airline should order A350- 1000 ultra long range to New York or Los angles direct flight for us route sector .

    • @toonistiny
      @toonistiny 8 месяцев назад +6

      It's not easy to do. People would easily choose bigger names like Lufthansa and Air France over little 'ol Malaysia Airlines. Not just that, you have to be able to maintain that route. You have to pay for the continuous operation of that route, which for big airports like Heathrow and Frankfurt, will be a lot. And you have to pay for the continuous maintenance of your aircraft. You have to pay for fuel, spare parts and staff! When you put all these together, it's very expensive. So, while they do plan for such things, I think it'll be a while longer until they can achieve that goal and reopen their European services.

    • @bramRemy
      @bramRemy 8 месяцев назад +3

      @@toonistiny The previous management in the late 90 make a blunder mistake in managing the airline . Example route from kl stop over in oslo then to New York with not much passenger from kl to Oslo Norway & passenger from Oslo to New York .You paying the landing fee & facility in that particular country more than you are earning . If you are saying about maintenance wise I know coz I m an aircraft mechanic . If maintenance wise spares part is more expensive , but if you know how to plan the proper route you can achieve in making money of it . I knew as long the aircraft keep on flying it is good for the airline after certain period aircraft need to come in for maintenance in the hangar for short check & longer check depend the hour of flight that the aircraft has been utilised.Actually Malaysia airline is the mentor toward Singapore airline during early day of it inception in 1972 as an airline but look at them now . My cousin is inflight supervisor in mas during early 80 till early 2002 .Singapore airline has 4 flight per day to London itself with 2 A380 & 2 777-300er per day flight to London . There is a few of my relative is formerly mas staff but now mostly retired or being retrench during 90 & 2000 to reduce of manpower.

      @@bramRemy if the routes are not on demand and not deemed profitable, I guess the management would not simply add new routes. I am not from the aviation sector background, but what I do know is, as long as the demand is not high enough, there wont be any new routes. Plus, it has to consider whether the routes can sustain such amount of passengers from time to time. Why risking new routes when the passengers could barely fill the aircraft for each flight even if some of the travelers asking for such routes, in this case, Paris, Amsterdam, Rome and Zurich? London is an exception due to the fact that many Malaysians love to travel to the UK and most Malaysian students who go abroad, study in the UK.

    • @bramRemy
      @bramRemy 8 месяцев назад

      @@MrAmerazmi I agreed what you said like Amsterdam , Paris & Frankfurt should resume the route . People from the Dutch , German & France . Most of the European from this 3 countries like to travel to Malaysia . Especially the Dutch love to travel indonesia coz their former colony .I have travel with mas during 2004 from Kl to Amsterdam & return .The aircraft was full with passengers young man ,Malaysia airline should at least per year 1 or 2 European sector should resume the connection. If you look at emirates during the early 90 they had smallest fleet with 10 Airbus 310 & 10 A300 , but now you look at emirates ,they have most fleet of A380 & 777 a well known airline .if you also look at Qatar & Etihad also the same from a small airline has become a well known airline in the world .Their marketing team play a part in surveying new destination .

    Catering service in a mess. I am not sure why the CEO is still there. Problem with Malaysia is leaders have no shame. Incompetent and shameless is the trademark of a failed company. I am not sure why they got a pilot to run a company. It is not flying a plane. You need to be trained in business.

How about you make your own airline, lets see how you manage it😂

    they used to be decent some 10 years ago, but now the worst. I wouldn't even fly with them for free. Worst customer service, worst cabins and disgusting catering, thanks to the cost cutting they are using. Truly an embarrasment to their "MH - Malaysian Hospitality" motto.

  • @BangkokBonkers
    @BangkokBonkers 8 месяцев назад +5

    Yep - on the flagship A350s in Business and Business Suites, the seat cushions often deflate, - necessitating the carriage of booster cushions; Sometimes, MH doesn't load wines or champagnes on flagship routes for their premium passengers that pay more to fly MH than they would on SQ or QR to fly to/from say London, Sydney, Melbourne or Tokyo (with a better product).
    The 737 MAX - let's talk straight - bring your own device and headphones. Don't have all of that equipment for you, the husband or the kids?...tough luck. No entertainment for you! And the new interior...thin seats to maximise capacity all in the name of going green. Pfft. It will carry more passengers and thus more baggage and F&B - where is this green initiative in reality?
    The Enrich FFP programme is now worst in class - in fact, it's laughable. There is almost zero benefit to crediting miles to Enrich - do the sums. And try and make a redemption! 500k PLUS miles ONE WAY to KL from London. And they wonder why Enrich members are moving to KrisFlyer and Avios. Duh.
    Here's an example of the ride that Enrich takes you on - "Our Enrich Saver and online Points + Cash redemption will be inaccessible until further notice with works ongoing to reinstate these options soonest possible." This was posted on 25th August - more than 2 weeks ago dated by this page. How long does it take to work this out? Kopi breaks take so long down there in KL?
    But of course, "Full Points redemption is still available on our website and for Points + Cash redemption,." 😂😂 But! Their website when logged in says "Enjoy greater flexibility when selecting your Award Ticket, as the Points required for redemption are tied to fares and vary according to seat availability, passenger demand and seasonality."
    And you wonder why bloggers and vloggers in the FFP world all have a laugh.
    And what's up with Cruise and Team Sports and Events?! - if they had the network of say SQ or CX or hey - Air Asia - there would be some logic to this. It's all meaningless chatter - clickbait, if you will. One point in Europe and a handful in APAC. Come on..who writes this stuff...and more to the point, who approves it that thinks it's good stuff? It's embarrassing.
    Case in point - MH Hotels. Their partner is one of the global OTAs. It's cheaper to book direct with the OTA direct. Same hotel, same dates. You just don't earn pitiful points that get you no where. Yay! Better yet, boys and girls - just book direct with the hotel who will usually match the OTA price but give you a perk - better room, transfer or makan.
    Try and make a booking on their website - it says 123 is the lowest fare in the class on that date....nope...no 123 fares. It's been like this since pre-Covid.
    Want to book a flight and already an Enrich member for countless years? Should be simple, right? 😅Nope..you still need to add every single detail about you in the booking profile. They don't even know from your log-in what sex you are. Unreal.
    And get this! - It then asks you to consider signing up for Enrich when you have already logged in as Silver, Gold or Platinum. Their IT is up the wazoo and clueless and no one wants to fix it.
    Their crew in the air are , indeed - fabulous. On the ground...it needs help and in the far back-ground (IT, Enrich, Marketing) it needs a defibrillator. It's dead and buried - it all gave up a long, long time ago. There is no pride in these departments in making something workable - and beneficial to the airline or it's customer.
    MH was once a glorious 5* airline that won accolades left right and centre. Remember the days when they consistently won Best Wine Cellar in the Skies? And then their food offerings were the stuff of legends? It's now a mess with no direction. The MH of the past doesn't exist anymore.
    You felt good to have an MH boarding pass in your hand.
    Not anymore you don't. And that's a shame.
