Quite a decent anime. Though it is not quite 100% accurate to the manga I’ll give it a 9/10.
Yeah. It's mostly accurate to the manga but they cut out 30% of the Big Chungus arc. In the manga, Big Chungus was such a complex character, to the point he even felt like a real person. But Surreal Entertainment Studios had to take out most of the scenes with him, so they could focus in the main conflict of this season, the invasion of Thirst Man.
I think this will affect the impact of BG's death, since anime-only fans are much less connected to him. But only time will tell.

Something about Surreal Entertainment's videos stick with you, and keep you coming back for more. But out of all of them, I think Thirst Man is the ultimate, unforgettable, unsettling, and perfect example of surrealism. I’ve waited too long for this, so glad it’s here. I’ve desperately needed the backstory of this character.
So Thirst man is probably a metaphor of human greed, and the ever expanding industries. There will be a time where the Industries will not be able to keep up with the people demanding *more* and that's were the first video of Thirst Man comes in.
The Industries left the world barren, without resources, but the thirst for more is still there. We'll also reach a point where we'll consume ourselves to quench that "thirst" (probably in the form of "industrialized cannibalism" , like in the movie "Soylent Green")
But no matter how many things he consumes, Thirst man will forever be thirsty, for *more*
And to bring it even closer to home , it paints the same exact picture we happen to be in . Viewers asking for more content , not caring about the producer , endlessly feeding on his constant work . And of course he says "ok , i don't mind , i'm doing it to please '' but is that really the case ? Should one really need a reminder on a desktop in order to keep one's life and sanity in order ?
