Congratulations. The car looks very nice with new stuff and battle scars. I appreciate that you take time to document everythink with so much work in so short time.
Thanks mate, I do try, the videos could be better but as you say, always time limited currently 😅 next season will hopefully be a little better, perhaps have a little more time spare 🤞
@@5501pickopicko They should at least be hooking you up with something? You're putting out much more interesting content than Travis Pastrana hitting a speed bump 🤘
@@Badmudaphucka yeah there’s several companies that do aftermarket gearsets mate, xshift, PPG, modena, samsonas but they’re all very expensive and then service life and a whole host of other stuff comes along with it, drive by wire throttle body for the downshift blip and then a different ecu with more inputs to control that, it’s a big investment in time and money 😅
So, it’s a time attack technicality haha, scrutineers said; ‘you can’t have more than 100mm of tire showing above the axle to the rear of the car’ This was my workaround 😂 Even though, from the rear you can’t see any of the front tires as the rear tires and arches cover them 🤷🏻♂️
@@5501pickopicko haha thought it might be some weird aerodynamic thing but that makes sense. Guess it is kind of like the little plastic lips and extensions you get on lots of modern production cars these days to pass the regs for wheels/tyres not protruding beyond the arches. Was also wondering with the carbon bits you are making have you ever thought to make fibre glass molds to reproduce the parts from? Might be useful for arches or bumper and other bits that are likely to get damaged. Also how about a carbon roof for some more weight saving? These guys done plenty of parts including splitters and a roof www.youtube.com/@StreetBandito
Wait a minute, you may already have a carbon roof now I think of it, I remember some episodes back when this chassis was being built it didn't have a roof...
@@TheRZBM exactly that mate, I do have grp moulds of several parts, doors and a few other bits but it’s always a rush when I’m doing these things so I never seem to have time to make the moulds 😅 I have got a carbon roof on there already yeah, I watch a lot of the street bandito content, they certainly do make some clean parts 👌 I’ve still got a fair few areas and parts to change out, subframes and the rear boot and spoiler setup can be ‘carboned’ so to speak 😂
@@5501pickopicko ah I was thinking perhaps you had seen their stuff. Now wondering if your Subaru will end up like the 240z and be mostly replaced with carbon 😆

Congratulations on a decent season all the mishaps and you get podiums 💪👌
Look forward to future anics 😍
Thankyou mate, it’s been a bit of a hectic season for sure 😅
Are Subaru UK sponsoring you with gears & baulk rings yet? (Or keeping them in stock for you at least) 🤣
I wish they were mate 😂 straight from Japan everytime 😅

Surely someone in the UK makes uprated gearsets & you not destroying them would be great marketing?

What is the riveted on flap of carbon on the wing at 14:40? Seen it in another video and been wondering what it was for?
