One of my favorites is near the beginning of the game where Lenny tells Micha “When you fall there will be a party.” Then in the epilogue part 2 John kills Micha, gets married and throws a wedding party immediately after.
One of the bigger ones is where Javier and Micha are arguing in camp where Javier tells him to go back to hell and Micha tells him to go back to Mexico
Yeah everyone brings this up but can we really call Jack a gunslinger? I mean after shooting ross he was definitely a criminal but would we say gunslinger? He canonically only shoots one person it's pretty clear jack didn't have anything left after that, so he probably just went back home and lived.
@@NateS917 The way I understood the ending was that Jack looked at his gun after killing Ross with the understanding that he now is an outlaw. He just killed a pretty big name, left a trail of people who can identify him, and has to live with the consequences. I feel like he continued down a life of crime after that because where else does he have to go, back to a home with no family?

For anyone wondering who that is there's this one poster in rhodes about a guy called Mark Johnson that you'll see around chapter 3-4, Once you look for him you'll see him as a seemingly "changed man" who strays away from his outlaw life with his family encouraging his son to ride the horse, Once arthur confronts the man you have the option to let him say his farewells to his family or arrest him immediately, If you let him say his farewells he will actually tell his son to call his gang to stop you from taking him, If you arrest him immediately it's just a cakewalk to jail which makes the scene more sad.. However if you actually kill his wife/son he'll tell the law but they wouldn't care about it, And in a few days you can choose to free him from hanging and he'll go back to his family.
One other thing which i found in my 2nd playthrough...when you give a dollar to the blind man he said to arthur..."which that kills you will open your eyes" and tb did open Arthur's eyes
I heard a whole conversation between John and Javier where John was thanking Javier (and Arthur) for saving his life. He told Javier that he would have done the same for him and that he owed Javier (&Arthur) for ever for saving his life. The same day Javier was talking about how he’d like to go back to Mexico and John said he wanted you to go to Mexico one day too. Knowing what happens in Rdr1 made those conversations so much deeper and sad.
The black doctor in Rhodes that you return the carriage to, he gives you a recipe for medicine and tells you "it won't help with anything chronic" like TB.
@@terryqokov6999Arthur shows signs of TB as early as late chapter 2, in the homestead robbery with Javier he coughs as he moves the crates and after he collects the money, in the bar with dutch as he says “to your good health” Arthur coughs, he shows signs at the end of chapter 2, he’s definitely showing more noticeable signs by chapter 3 when he’s in the humid south, for me he was underweight in chapter 3 despite eating big game meat at least daily & whatever else i needed to keep him full on cores, we only really properly notice he has terminal TB in chapter 4/5, which about lines up with saint denis & the island when we see him get really sick
Not me he switched on and Arthur and his gang at the end. He tried pressing Charles, trying to sound all big and tall but he ain’t even top 5 in the group. RDR1 he still hated John. That’s why John cried locking him up.

This series made me cry twice now and I’m on the hunt for red dead revolver now. The foreshadowing of this game hits harder than a truck during your second playthrough of each one :(
One of my favorite foreshadowing bits was somewhere in chapter 6 I believe, Dutch and Arthur were having a conversation on horseback and Dutch mentions needing “just one more big score” as they cross a bridge with whistling train passing underneath. Really subtle and I didn’t even realize on first playthrough

The clip about Jack fishing isn't about him killing Ross in the first game. It foreshadows Red Dead 2's epilogue, where John takes Jack fishing, and Jack no longer enjoys it (and his dog gets bitten by a snake while they fish). In Red Dead 1, Ross was duck hunting when Jack killed him.
At Clemen’s Cove during a campfire interaction, John and Javier are talking about Mexico. John then says something along the lines of “Huh…I’d like to visit Mexico one day.” Then there was a silence as the events of the far future haunted my mind.
Yes, one hour into my first play through. 2018. I’ll always remember hearing Javier saying that line ‘if the situation were revered, he’d look for me’. I lent back in my chair and breathed a sigh of relief. The writers are very intelligent, I knew then that the story would be special. It’s such a fantastic line.
Also when Arthur helped that one doctor in Rhodes who’s carriage was stolen. The doctor gave him medicine and told him something along the lines that ‘it doesn’t help with chronic illness, but it may not need to’
In epilogue, playing the John, we can be a bounty hunter in armadillo. When we take the outlaw to the prison, he says something like “my people will find you. when you see horses around you house, know you time is passed” It actually happens in rdr1… not “his” people, but still..

Yes, one hour into my first play through. 2018. I’ll always remember hearing Javier saying that line ‘if the situation were revered, he’d look for me’. I lent back in my chair and breathed a sigh of relief. The writers are very intelligent, I knew then that the story would be special.
