- Here is our full interview with Jenna Ortega! Join Juwaan and Joel as they sit down with the cast of Netflix's new hit series "Wednesday". We were lucky to talk with lead Jenna Ortega about what it's like to bring something new to such a legendary character, Luis Guzman on what his version of Gomez brings to the series, Gwendoline Christie on what her new character Larissa Weems brings to this big world and what it's like to work with Jenna, We finally got to talk to the faces behind the concept for "Wednesday" Miles Millar and Alfred Gough on how to blend the old with new. Seriously, the first young actor in Hollywood these days who seem to be intelligent and educated while being iconic and entertaining.
Jenna is so relaxed in this interview, very cool girl. Gwendoline Christie's laugh is so joyous, she's a great actress.

Jenna comes across as genuine, intelligent and professional - mixed with burtons impeccable aesthetics you have something quite unique. Only time can tell whether Netflix manages to mess this one up too...
with the work of burton and jenna combined, i highly doubt they will, at least hope they dont!

I restarted my Netflix account yesterday to watch Wednesday and have seen the first episode. I enjoyed it immensely! Hearing the performers speak about their views about the characters was extremely helpful in setting the tone for my viewing. One moment in particular stood out to me. When Wednesday enters the pool room to defend her brother, she pauses for the briefest of moments, not even a second, as if she is moving through the intimidation projected by the athletes. After steeling her nerves the full force of her confidence is on display. That set her persona in my mind for the rest of the episode, which is in part about her learning to question that confidence as well as explaining some of the things in her past that put it into place. Discussing her life with a counselor, the recounting of the death of her pet scorpion, attempts upon her life, and learning that not everyone can be bought are all marvelous examples of discovering how and when confidence is needed as well as when confidence can be a negative contribution to social life.

I think I'm not alone when I say that something about this show is extremely special and captivating.
This is as entertaining as the whole show. It’s so great to hear from every actor and authors the breakdown of the story, the characters, and what each of them think about the whole experience. They are all so talented. Jenna, not only she’s gorgeous, eloquent but also monstrously talented!!

Lovely interview, good questions and obviously Jenna is an absolute legend. I wasn't big Adams Family fan but I really like Tim Burton and the vibe of his work so I was really excited to see Wednesday. After the show I can only say that I can't wait for the second season. What a delightful show.

Jenna seems like such a normal down to earth person
I like what Jenna said when she was talking about how it's ok to be rude and sarcastic when you're a child since you don't know any better, but you have to grow up eventually. I have a friend who got a job at McDonalds a few months ago. She's 24 and she's had a temper since i met her when she was 12. She told me she's given her boss so many reasons to fire her because of that temper. Looking back, i wish i'd told her that she needs to keep her temper in check in certain environments.

✋✋. Imagine everyone's surprise if I make Jenna into a Assassin-Templar with a bit of Erudito and Sage on the side. At least I don't have to make her into a self-made soldier of freedom and order, unless she asks me to teach her. The life of a warrior is optional, depending on who's asking, but I'll be waiting for my successor to take over my brotherhood so I can lay down my sword and live as I wanna live, on my own terms, for myself and no one else. Don't blame me if I'm racist towards civilians in general, because they act like kittypets trying to play warrior when they don't know what it's like to be an actual warrior, regardless of the circumstances. Like it's one of the songs from Steven universe "Do it for her", I'd do it for her, and I would do it again. I'd do it for her, that is to say, I'd do it for him (if she has a certain male ancestor whom she has always been looked up to as a role model.) ✋✋

I used to look forward to watching "Stuck in the Middle" with Jenna Ortega when it first premiered on Disney Channel back in 2016. But years before she left her days at Disney behind, I was excited about the prospect of seeing Jenna play Lydia's daughter in "Beetlejuice 2" in 2024. At that time, I had no idea who she was! Even when "Wednesday" came out on Netflix, she was dancing while wearing a dress. That was pretty sweet!
I looked up when she stole my A's hat ... and she said I was cute, sunflower? I'm older now 😂
It's crazy how different she sounds from her costars. She sounds more like Ricci or Christie than the other younger cast members.
