- We built a DIY shifter kart and we want to see how it performs up against a torque converter go kart. We're using a Manco Dingo with a Tillotson 212cc engine equipped with a 30 series torque-a-verter system from Go Power Sports against our American Express 2.0 "shifter kart" with a Tillotson 212cc engine paired to a Yamaha Blaster transmission. We throw in the Yard Dart for good measure, and the coffin kart even makes an appearance in this head to head backyard go kart race.

You guys need to build 3 identical carts to race head to head on. Even add weights to make you all weigh in the same. Then it would be a drivers race. I would love to see that. And set up cameras all over the course.

Mud blasting!!!! Charles was one solid color (BROWN). and Ike only faired a little better. too bad John's kart suffered catastrophic steering component damage. that coffin kart sounded like a tractor, but it proved to be durable. those Manco Dingo karts seem to be some really versatile durable go karts for sure.

Oh man, the Coffin Kart got you so muddy since the front wheels are cambered so far inwards, they rotate and the mud they sling upwards with each rotation slings it on that angle right into the pilot's face. I say pilot since that thing reminds me of a fighter plane what with the coffin being fuselage-like XD
Edit: Now that I think of it, the front wheels sling mud all over the coffin's sides and that goes into your face when you take a turn and the mud slings up the outside where the kart slides into the path of the flying mud bypassing the fenders that I somehow didn't notice when I first posted this comment lol though I did post partway through just after the qualification lap of the Coffin Kart so they weren't there initially and thus I know my eyes aren't that bad even without my glasses :P

Y'all need to make a self cleaning camera lens for muddy conditions. Take 2 sewing thread spindles and motorize one of them to pull clear cling wrap over your camera lens at a slow rate. Love the content guys!!

Look at the MX goggle roll-off systems, would be fairly simple to make a bracket, definitely will keep those camera lens clean ! They've got motorized, or manual advancements... Being those don't have lenses filters, Gotta keep them scratch free, longer...
