Ha ha I ran that fuel in my 1970 Cadillac deville. But I didnt make it fly but it should have. Lol lol. Heart video and that track looked great and fun.
That’s cool we built 3 tracks here locally in 3 different back yards. Now we have 15-20 flat karts traveling the “circuit “ every week. All 3 tracks are different, makes it exciting. Good job on the track.
Nice !! bring more of the go kart track to videos! I race go karts I'd make the 3 hour drive to come run with y'all! Just started following you this summer ..
Now that's the way to spend a Friday and Friday night! Very cool to see the "work hard, play hard" guys running neck and neck and having a great time. I bet the trifecta and you pulled it off, Mike! Very nice job on the track prep, video, and the sound work. 2 thumbs up from here! Drove it like ya stole it, NICE Doug@ the "ranch"
Fun! Those double-V scraper things are super handy. Got a mini one myself. A guy near me builds and sells them and sometimes he welds flat across the back V on the bottom to make kind of a cutting edge on it. Works pretty slick. Then he puts places to hang suitcase weights on them too. Looks like a nice track! Thanks for sharing!
Watching your vlogs is like attending a construction vocational school. I'm sure there's hundreds of younguns watching learning to get into your profession. Just as it should be, one generation passing on their knowledge to the next.
wow that's awesome banking on there. We had trouble with that part on ours a few years back, but it was still a lot of fun and we had limited equipment anyways. We made one about 2/3 the size of this. Your track is very well made and I wish I could run it.
Yup, you REALLY do like playing in the DIRT. Maybe a build for a swamp buggy or a tractor pull would be a cool vid? Big boys must have big toys. Enjoyed the show. Play HARD!!! ;)
We had a dirt track out here it was a lot of fun and work, I get the track ready and then have to work on my go-kart or somebody else's. Great video Stay safe Dwayne
Looks like a blast! Those motors doing healthy!! My Son runs an A modified !! Kinda of an expensive hobby, we only run it when we’re not busy on the farm!!!
How cool is that best way to have fun is to improvise what you enjoy. Thanks for the video! Oh your skid steer hunt I just by accident am going to demo a used one next week with a trencher on it I'll pass on my opinion!!!
That’s a awesome track 👍 I didn’t know you could take the backhoe end off the 110 and put attachments on it I thought it was permanently on the back dirt perfect do you have a video of taking on or off the backhoe attachment? Curious to know the process
That's awesome beings back memories I used to race go-carts then my job end up taking me out of town so I had to quit racing if they would have stayed racing on Friday nights I could have still been racing but they moved to Saturday night didn't get home till 1 or 2 in the morning I'd have to leave Sunday afternoon it made it hard to stay awake driving to work so I had to quit one of them
thats a great attachment,, never seen one here, i gotta build one for the front of my 25hp lawn tractor, and built it to hook tho the H frame for the snow blower head, and hook up a big pump to one of the pto shafts, one in front, one in center and one at the back, that hardest part to find tho is a female spline that fits the pot shaft, it is a 1-1/8" shaft with really fine spline, the coupler for hooking up the drive shaft for the snow blower and mower deck it so big and bulky, with a 3" pull back collar to lock on, but for a pump, just need a plain coupling witth pto spline on one end and a 1/2" round w/ way for the pump, slip on slip off, i have all kinds of diferent size and RPm hydrolic motors kicking around from when i worked in the bush and they stripped down the old short wood koring harvesters and we build de-limbers, truck log loaders out of them, dam cabs were 18 feet off the ground, that power rake would be a snap to build, never seen on at any equipment dealer here, that works great, that must have also what was on the skid steer when i said it was going so fast you couldnt see the bucket, and you said it was a power rake... this is what you was talking about, but one that fits skid steer.. i can look at something and have a snap shot in my head and build it..
Not that it isn’t working for you , but did you ever consider a ram pump for your watering needs .They are awesome for water delivery ! That is a great little track . Thanks Mike
a tip for you put lysol in your water about 1 gal to a 1000 gallons of water , also when u run your track in pack it in the opposite the way u race on it will give u a smoother track to protect your bottom end as u say it.
I raced karts for years absolutely loved it we ran flat heads when I quit they where just transitioning into a clone motor (blue motor or predator) I was always a Briggs guy we did run the animal engine Wich is an ohv Briggs and I had a big block Briggs Wich was 10hp block that made around 58-60 hp on a flat cart with no cage it was way more than you needed I built it solely for outlaw class ran alot of places beachnut, lil indy , I-35, junction City, clay city I have 285 or so feature wins 6 track championship wins and lots of heat wins if you ever have any questions feel free to ask my dad is one of the best set up guys in my area haven't raced since 2010 and they still ask him to set karts up
one would get dessy going around and around on a short track, you need to make a bigger figger 8 track like they have here for go carts,, you need some big bales of straw on them corners, going of into that bush and smakin a big tree would feel really good
What implement are you using on the back of your tractor, at the start of the video when you are getting the track smoothed out? I'm building a 754ft 1/7 a mile dirt track on the back side of my farm, and would love to get my track as smooth as yours! What tips can you give me for building banking in the turns? Thank you!
Big fan Dirt Perfect. Watched the video a couple times cause I’m thinking about building something similar on our family property in western Wisconsin. Quick question though, could you tell me more about your compacting roller that you towed behind that smaller tractor. Did you buy that or was it another one of your builds?
My dad and his buddies raced midgets with motorcycle engines in them when I was a kid. He owned a sporting goods store and gas station in Pennsylvania.
Cool stuff. You better be king of the track at your home track👍Where all have you raced? My exwifes cousin Jacob McCormick from Illinois has a you tube channel of him racing at bi state track and ben hur. He's pretty good. When he was a young teen He'd smoke everyone in his age class so he petitioned to race up. He held is own against the adults.
i thought that was an RC track.. like we have in town, i built the same kind of watering system for mixing calcium in water to put on mt 2800 feet of drive way to stop the dust, i built the tank with a hopper on top so i can dump 50Lb bags of calcium into the tank as the pump is blasting water in, them i want a 1/2" air hose in the tank for half hour to mix it up
That was cool i say when the busy season stops you get the whole gang up there for a race @letsdig18 @S.O.T. Metalworks @eliteearthworks @jasonworksalot
one would get dessy going around and around on a short track, you need to make a bigger figger 8 track like they have here for go carts,, you need some big bales of straw on them corners, going of into that bush and smakin a big tree would feel really good
This popped up in the side panel and glad it did as not watched your videos this far back yet. Great prep and racing bro. Safe travels. Ken.
How awesome is this! So jealous!
Lol come join us good excuse for a trip 😜
That was great to have a race track so available!
Those 110s are handy little machines and the backhoe works so much better than just a pto one.. Track looks good thanks for sharing !!
Ha ha I ran that fuel in my 1970 Cadillac deville. But I didnt make it fly but it should have. Lol lol. Heart video and that track looked great and fun.

I really wish we had some tracks like that over this side of the pond ! All much bigger, and tarmac-no good for beginners !!
Nice !! bring more of the go kart track to videos! I race go karts I'd make the 3 hour drive to come run with y'all! Just started following you this summer ..
That is soo cool, gotta get the speedway bike or quads out in it one time matey
Now that's the way to spend a Friday and Friday night!

Awesome! We have a track we run on sundays. Just for fun/bragging rights. We’re about 30 miles south of Indy if your ever up for a trip!
Are you running the predator engines?
Nick Buchanan yes and clones
Yup, you REALLY do like playing in the DIRT. Maybe a build for a swamp buggy or a tractor pull would be a cool vid? Big boys must have big toys. Enjoyed the show. Play HARD!!! ;)

Looks like a blast! Those motors doing healthy!! My Son runs an A modified !! Kinda of an expensive hobby, we only run it when we’re not busy on the farm!!!
I would love to run one but just don’t have the time ore money we put about 1k these karts and have a blast
Dirt Perfect I hear that ! Looks like a lot of fun and entertainment!! Ya the engines in a mod. Are pricey if you want to compete!!!
I bet
Watch you and MBTS everyday💪
Nice job getting the track in shape. You have a pretty nice looking track setup.
Thanks

how many acres of land is it in total
Now get Jason and the crew out there and officer Hoover too. That would be classic
I agree with that you just have to keep Logger Wade from celebrating til after the race. Haha....
Ha that would be interesting to say the least
That would make a great video! RUclips channel race off! 🏁

Will that airplane has work in a 49cc 2stroke engine?ALSO What's the octane % in the airplane gas?
109 octane and yes
You know how to have fun👍
Got to blow of some steam ever once one a while right
How much dirt and clay did you end up using? For the whole track making it.
30 truck loads
What implement are you using on the back of your tractor, at the start of the video when you are getting the track smoothed out?
I'm building a 754ft 1/7 a mile dirt track on the back side of my farm, and would love to get my track as smooth as yours!
What tips can you give me for building banking in the turns?

Home made drag
How many degrees is your banking of your other corners
8
Can you run stagger on the rear tires ?
Looks like the fast way around the track is on the outside, keep her on the cam.
Yes we do and it all depends on the track that night in where the fast lane is
That looks like a blast!! I want to race next time we’re out!
Where is this? Tracks have all shut down in my area.
Indiana

Was another one of my scrape pile builds
You need to submit that pipe repair to Popular Mechanics home made and handy.
how big is this dirt track. a quarter mile or so to get around it?
No more like 12th mile
Looks like a good time for sure! Is it just me or is your water trailer needing bearing covers?
Lol yes been that way for almost 20 years 😕
@@DirtPerfect well if it's survived for that long and where it isn't pulled at high speeds I wouldn't really worry about it either.
How the hell have I missed this for 3 years?!
Aviation fuel is some awesome stuff. We used to run it in a late model. Switch that puppy over too Methanol Alcohol???... hahahaha!!.
Yes it is
I thought I saw some kart tires on the shelf in a previous video
Yup good time
Oh, and why 4 stroke? Any reason for it or just for the hell of it?
Cheep
@@DirtPerfect cheaper than two stroke?, damn, I really live in the wrong country!
cool. how often are your kids pestering you to drive. a couple of kiddie carts would be cool.

I do see the fun in this but why don't you run with dirt tires?
We do
