Have you ever played one of those Fishman acoustic Loudbox amps? It would be interesting to talk about choosing a PA vs an amp and why one might purchase one vs the other. And also talking about using pre-amps and other pedals and why you pick pedals for a PA and/or amp. Nobody ever talks about these things much with acoustic guitars. It only comes up with electric guitars. Would be nice to do a deep dive on amps vs PA vs pre-amps and effects pedals. I’ve seen that pedal of yours from Fishman. They make a bunch of great looking pre-amp pedals. LR Baggs also has some nice options. It’s tough to know what to pick and what’s really suitable, though. Like why would one want to go with a Fishman Loudbox vs. a setup like yours, for instance? Anyway, your guitars always sound beautiful with your setup. I can only imagine how much better it must be in person!
On my tone journey I started with my D28 which I have owned for 47 years. Installed the Baggs lyric after hearing Phil Keaggy demo. Bought all the Align pedals and mounted them on a board. You can get very close to the Original. Then with the Optima Air, produced IRs using a shotgun mic, preamp and EQ. In my alternate location with a cheap guitar the Fishman Aura is fun with all the mic and guitar sounds
I would love to hear that D28 now. It has to be awesome especially paired with the electronics you selected. I especially like the align reverb pedal. Thanks so much for sharing you treasured finds ❤️

Rosewood , mahogany and maple are the three basic B and S tone woods and Spruce (5-6 species), Cedar/Redwood and Mahogany the three basic top woods. Coupled with different body sizes and scales, plenty of combinations- at least 120- 150 (great) combo possibles to spend your $$$$ on !
