This is exactly the type of video I love; lots of dolls! I also love tips on how to care for and restore these kiddos. The videos of other folk's collections are also exciting to see. You always do a good job Rachel!
I love the vintage vinyl baby dolls. The mechanics and design are interesting, and they don't make them now like they use to! I miss seeing all the cool dolls the inventors designed back in the 50,60,70,80's
I am so glad I've found your channel. I think I will be entertained and maybe even educated watching these videos about something I really love....Dolls.!
I don’t know what my favorite videos are, all of them? Bring on more behind the scenes, unboxing and of course Holland Diane. Love the Raggedy dolls! 💕🧶
Why we love these little critters 🤣🤣 I love a little eveything but i will say as a new flip the switch collector I go through phases so the research can be fun in that way!
Hi Rachel! I luv Doll hauls n also seeing the collections of other Doll lovers. In my collection I have a little bit of everything and all things Doll related. Doll figurines, vintage paper dolls, etc.
How Fun!!! I love seeing and learning about dolls I do know and don't know anything about. You never know when you'll see something you make like and want to collect. Happens all the time. lol
I love the wonderful doll rescue! in the 90s when I was doing some restoration work for a friend, it was mandatory that I had to wear cotton gloves before handling a composition or bisque' doll. You have some beautiful dolls in your collection!
I love all your videos but really, really enjoyed the Christmas ones, showing your mom's dolls, the traditional decorations, big Santa figures and special vintage and antique dolls mixed together. It was always like walking into he wonderful, mid century grotto of a huge, high end department store. My all-time single favourite vide was you and John Port sharing time in the bear den.
Love seeing hauls and all things dolls. So much to learn. I collect some of everything. Love vintage jointed, googly and flirty eyed dolls. Love the girls but boys too because less common. Plus I have sons. All adorable! I was a 60s kid but lived in an old town with lots of vintage values. I also was a neighborhood mom and now collecting dolls is like being a kid again and having kids around. I'm a grandma but miss my grandkids. I'm on US West coast and all my grandkids so far are on East coast. Great haul! 💕💞
I loved the video! I was excited to see all of the dolls! All of your video's are good! I like the variety! I collect a little of everything too! Hugs!!! :)
I personally LOVE a little bit of everything:)!! The only Dolls I do not like are Cabbage Patch Dolls. Other than that, I so LOVE Knickerbocker Raggedy Ann and Andy, the Georgene Raggedy Ann and Andy, African American Gerber Doll, Shirley Temple Baby, African American Kewpie Doll in clown suit, the adorable Jaydee Boy Doll in the super cute Sailor Suit, and I so LOVE both Dollhouses:)!!! Thanks for sharing all your Dolls:)!! I LOVE unboxing as much as Linda and Stan fixing up all the sweet Dolls:)!!!!
I like a little bit of many things, but definitely not everything when it comes to dolls. My faves in this video are the Shirley Temple, the sailor boy, and the Madame Alexander dolls. These days I am more into old dolls than modern ones. Some of the small dolls are also cute. I like your idea of a "little" doll haul - it must be a great thing about owning a doll shop. I also kinda like serious, little Gretchen - she is such a character. Will be nice to see how she turns out when she is all fixed. Hope you continue to share both those and fixing up dolls, and just chatting with us. I am also so happy that I found your online doll convention content - that makes it so much more accessible. I can't fly halfway around the globe to get to a convention, so I really appreciate that.
Already excited...I like 20th century dolls the most. Doll hauls are exciting. Adoe Kewpies are a favorite. Also like Raggedy Ann and Andy. I had a Kewpie when I was very 6oung. My daughter had one for her first Christmas. Cookie went everywhere with her. She couldn't say Kewpie. I made matching outfits for her. Our snow had melted. What an treasure trove of information..love learning. You're looking good. Stay well and stay safe. From Tennessee
@@RachelHoffmanDolls OH! You should see my very happy face. I show my hubby ; he laughed and said please keep me away from your madness 🤣. I can throw my own doll 🥳 🎊 here.
Oh fun haul! I love getting boxes of random dolls. I love barbie. Vintage barbie is my go to but I really do love all dolls. I love your videos always fun and full of information and beautiful dolls of course. Thank you for addressing the dolls with the french bodies. That has confused me when looking at some dolls. Great examples. I still think I need a baby hilda. So cute. I do have my grandma's shirley temple composition doll she got when she was about 12. I have gotten a couple tonner dolls. I guess fashion dolls are my favorites. There are just so many dolls. Something for everyone. :) If you have a suggestion of a good durable nice baby doll for a toddler let me know. My little loves her babies but I would love to get her a nicer doll than just her standard baby dolls she has from the store. Thank you always for your wonderful videos. That small doll house is sooooo cute. Perfect size too for a shelf.
I just stumbled across your channel and subscribed right away! My mother was passionate about collecting antique dolls and I obviously inherited that passion, although for now my focus is more on fashion dolls like Barbie, Bratz and Monster High. However, I'm interested in all kinds of dolls, and the day will come when my mother's dolls will move in here. I find your videos great and informative and look forward to surfing your channel.
OOOOh I love a doll haul. Thanks so much for sharing. I have a variety of dolls but my focus is china head dolls. About half of my chinas are rescues who needed bodies and new hands and feet. I was fortunate to find antique replacements for most of them and I had a doll maker friend who made me some too, but all of my dolls are repaired and dressed as appropriately as I could make them with old fabrics and old lace and tatting. So much fun.
Rachel I love all your videos (especially when Holland is in them) but I do love watching Linda and Stanley repair dolls and I love your doll hauls! I learned a lot from you in this one--for example I didn't know the difference between French and German jointed compo bodies and now I do. I collect a little bit of everything from antique to modern. I do have a lot of Shirley Temple dolls but not a Shirley baby--I thought she was beautiful!. Thanks again for your outreach to doll collectors
This was so much fun, I love a doll hull. Lol "she an ugly doll"...too funny!! I had a couple of dolls who I called the ugly sisters. They need love too. Thanks for a fun video Racheal.
Always love your videos Rachel. Fun haul. I collect a fairly wide range of dolls. Have learned so much from you and your colleagues and appreciate the work you all do. Hope the "Small Fry" is doing well.
I focus on collecting composition dolls but mostly shirley temple's, they are my favorite and I know much more about them than other dolls, but I'm willing to learn new things. ♡
love this doll haul!!! i have a vintage mystery box from Canada, told them i collect dolls, so the sent me 3 Nancy Ann Storybook dolls and pile of nic-naxs. I love to store it all in the box and rediscover it time to time... would love to have a box like that just with dolls and doll accessories 😉😘💗
That DEP w/ the German head was quite interesting (and wow, does she have super long lashes!)...Anyhow TXS for sharing. (P.S.: You look great, and I bet your little daughter is growing so fast!)~~ Have a great day. 🙂
Omg is that the ori annabelle doll?? The raggedy andy doll is adorable i mean my relative creeps out because im the only family member who collect dolls but to me it is something i love. Glad i found your channel sis. Love from a 23 years old boy living in singapore 🇸🇬 💕
Are some of this dolls were crafted by doll collector? OMG the time , great memories , fun and friendship we build during the crafting of the dolls is priceless 💖 .
Yes the cabbage patches came with cabbage patch diapers and many times were replaced by children with newborn diapers. The cabbage patch diapers looked and felt just like a real diaper but they had the insignia on them as well
In answering your question about what types of information and content I like most in videos, I love anything that has history about the companies or how the Doll came to be or the current competition when that doll was popular or came out. I teach Doll history in senior living facilities and the Mordal history I can get and background information the better. Also I like videos that are over 20 minutes because I want to be able to press play and listen as I do my house work or do my work at the hospital… If I have to keep going back and picking a new video to watch every five or 10 minutes I won’t click on it. Just my two cents :-) but I actually watch all the videos lol
My guess on the Shirley doll is that her irises were replaced and when they did that they probably filled the eyesocket with clay or something to hold the back of the iris in which then makes the eyes fixated in one position and not flirty anymore?
