  • Today we ride 6094, a 2013-built XD60. It is operating the route 301 BRT City Centre to downtown Calgary. This is a special bus because it is a rebuilt bus. This bus was built from the front remains of Phoenix Valley Metro Transit 2017 XD60 #8107 when it suffered an engine fire. The back half is from Calgary Transit 2013 XD60 #6072 where it was involved in an accident in 2020. The two parts were combined to make this bus, Calgary Transit 6094. We board at the newly renovated North Pointe Terminal and ride as far as Centre St and 40 Ave N. Filmed in the mid-afternoon of July 4th, 2022

Kinda interesting as I remember the front half having USSC Gemini seating, three wheelchair areas, the ramp at the center door, and of course... English/Spanish labelling ("EMERGENCY EXIT" being English, "SALIDA DE EMERGENCIA" being Spanish). I live in Phoenix (where the half out of a 2017 XD60 came from).

White front sign, but which bus did the bellows or accordion part come from?
