Matisse’s Cut Outs

It should be added that Matisse had badly deteriorating eyesight as well as mobility problems in later life when he made these cut outs.

it seems wrong that this was not mentioned. if he had been able to continue painting he may never have done the cut-outs, which would have been most unfortunate.
