Google sheet has mistakes in alpha, minimum 2 no imperial, but many imperials such as sisters inside.
My internal reactions to this "Yea Blood Angels" "Booo more Imperials, we need Chaos and Xenos and a Xenos Healer!"
Imo, the neuro’s spirit leech active should be changed to affect all factions’ units, with an extra heal bonus for xenos (like incisus’ active has a bonus for imperials). Then thats allsorted
@colonelturmeric558 that is a one time ability and doesn't reslly help for the long fights in incursion, onslaughts, and LREs

Lemartes as named Character from Death Company?
A smash captain ( I hope it is Lemartes) that summons death company assault marines that are dual wielding chain swords. dealing 2×3 hits. If black rage is triggered (have made a kill), they auto attack an adjacent unit prefering enemy units but friendly if no enemy available, just like Khârn does. And maybe red thirst also triggers on a kill that heals small amount ? @@blueleader82
My pick is Dante, Mephiston, Sanguinary Guard, apothecary, and a smash captain.
I hope the smash captain is actually Lemartes, that can summon death company assault marines (hopefully they are dual wielding chain swords) it would also be cool if the death company units will be similar to Khârn and start attacking friendly units once out of range of enemies
Inline with the chapter theme of rapid assult, they all have moment 4. Faction trait is red thirst, which is a small heal on kill of a non mechanical unit.
And the characters I've listened would fit the pattern of 2 named legendary's, an epic, a rare, and an uncommon.
I think that is hilarious that the Blood Angels, historically a red themed chapter, are speculated to have Dante and sanguinary Guard, both in gold, a priest, in white, and a death company, in black
i think snowprint should shift their focus on chaos or xenos factions, i know that imperium is the most fleshed out of alliances but it would be cool to see Harlequins, Dhrukari, Votann (dunno if they are considered part of the imperium), Emperor's Children and even dedicated daemon armies for all chaos gods.

Votann are officially grouped into the Xenos faction class by GW. Honestly would love to see them

But see that’s the thing, death korps are an Astra regiment, so would they be a part of the Astra militarum (setting a bigger limit of characters per faction), or be their own faction in the game?

In my head all LREs have been in preparation for the Mephiston LRE but recently I was thinking he’s OP enough to be a guild raid boss. It would be a shame as I love the character, but he would be fun as an imperial boss.
Id like more another non-imperial faction but they're cool, and can introduce it with a campaign against tyranid

Really hoping we get the Parasite of Mortrex released soon! Seems like they’ll start Blood Angels releases before finishing Dark Angels, so the new legendary event will probably be for BA. I love the faction synergy they’re building with DA though, so it would be nice to see that faction finished soon too.

Honestly I feel there's a lot of good evidence presented here for the blood angels to be next but it feels a bit weird straight after the world eaters as likely both will be melee focused. I wouldn't be surprised if maybe we get one legendary blood angel then start introducing another faction or finish off a few of the others before really filling out their roster to prevent melee overload
The nice thing about adding Blood Angels is that you can do so via campaign, paired against Nids in “Devastation of Baal”….

It would a great opportunity to come up with some story mode representing Devastation of Baal (Blood Angels vs Tyranids). This is one of the most epic battles in the Lord. Regarding characters, I agree with you, Dante, Mephiston and Sanguinary Guard almost for sure. Then there are Sanguinary Priest (Corbulo?), Chaplain (Astorath?) or even the mythical Lemartes leading Death Company. The Sanguinor could also be a very interesting option in my opinion.
Praying (though at this point seriously doubting) that the Imperial Fists get added at one point. I'd love to see lots of heavily armored characters like Tor Garadon and Darnath Lysander just tanking their way through anything. Maybe even adding a Sternguard Veteran with a heavy bolter?

Jokes aside, I can see potentially 5 flying characters (if they bake in mephiston's wings of fire). The ones you've already mentioned, plus astorath (?) and/or lemartes.

For the Dark Angels, I think Belial is a good candidate but I could see one of the Inner Circle as well to compete with the Black Templar Champion. Dark Angels have no summons. It would be really cool if they gave us a Ravenwing Biker that could summon brothers similar to Bellator, jink incoming fire as long as they moved "x" spaces and charge through enemies such as Tanksmasha.
Or a DA librarian who summons watchers that have some kind of bonus against psykers or chaos, or give shields like Tigurius that reduce psychic damage
I would love blood angels next for the imperial faction but I would also love the word bearers for chaos, that would be so cool
I predict either a Jump Pack Intercessor or Death Company marine as the first, a Sanguinary Guard member (maybe with the banner from the kit?), and three named characters: Mephiston (Epic), The Sanguinor (Legendary), and Dante (Legendary). Its great to see them coming to tacticus in the near future tho!
I'd love to see Sargent Rafen. Not a tabletop figure but would absolutely love to see him
For this datamining to be more convincing, it would need to show a bunch of items representing pictures of half of the galaxy, all covered in “Horus” and “Killlllll”

Aaaactually Nandi, the Blood Angel's army rule allows them to have +2 Strength and +1 Attacks on the charge!

Thanks for the new rumors really interesting stuff with some theorycrafting. As legendary characters for Dark Angels i have no clue what would be valid, when theyr chaptermaster is "only" epic. Lion El'Johnson would be a bit overpowered imho.

Death guard enemies in LRE is interesting. We’ve only seen Poxwalkers, who could the other NPC enemies be?
I was looking at lre planner yesterday for Ragnar and and at the top was blood angels upcoming. Not surprised. Awesome but as many said, we need more xenos and chaos. Death company will be great. Would love furioso but don't know if too small for mow and too big. For regular. Maybe raid? Thank you!!
Would be nice if they fixed existing issues first, like:
- the lack of missions for saim hann mirror
- the abysmal requisition progress requirements
- number of requisition scroll one can earn
- the lack of campaigns for death guard, tau, tyranids, sororitas, space wolves, admech
- missing characters from Admech, tyranids, dark angels
- the internet connectivity bug
- onslaught replayability
- various characters needing a rework
Just to name a few
I hope to see Dante (now he has also gravis armour in the lore), Lemartes or a black rage character, a Sanguinary guard and (because all space marines has their own terminator and psycker) i would say a Blood Angel terminator (maybe with double claws or with shield and thunder hammer) and Mephiston.
3:09 I'm very disappointed it's a Kataphron Destroyer for Admech. I was hoping that it would be a Kastelan robot.

Mephiston, Dante, Lemartes, Gabriel Seth (i think his name is), Sanguine Priest is my bet. Wouldnt be surprised with 2 legendaries for mephiston and dante, in the books they are both mental in influence and power.
I think Dante and Mephiston are both good shouts, and at least one of the two will be in. If Dante is in, then maybe a sanguinary guard won’t be a character as they both are fairly similar (golden, flying, elite blood angels).
Pretty sure a death company unit is 100% going to be in, whether it be someone that’s actually part of the death company or someone that could summon them like Lemartes.
Dante and Mephiston are a good lore wise parallel to Azrael and Asmodai. A Black Knight would be a cool 5th Dark Angel but I would kill for Belial.
I'm a life long BA player. But seems weird to me that they would release an army so similar back to back with world eaters. Like they easily could have used Kharnes attacking friends trait for death company, tons of similarities. Just hope they have meta characters if they are released so I can use them in our guild raids regularly.
Would make sense, since BA are rumored to be one of the next codexes in wh40k
Naaaahhh, I can quite easily see Mephiston's psychic attack being the only ranged attack in the faction, Death Company are thematically strongly melee focused. I'm actually not sure if we'd get Dante AND a Sanguinary guard, since he LEADS the Sanguinary Guard. Maybe he could summon them like Bellator? Or maybe like Celestine, but that would probably make the two too similar.
I'd like to submit the idea of a Death Company Chaplain, to channel the Black Rage of the Death Company, maybe again as a summon. Lemartes would also make a good Named Character for the faction.
I would quite enjoy a BA flamer or melta dude, maybe a flamer ability similar to the BT pyreblasters in octarius/ octarius mirror campaign. Or the 1st company captain in terminator armour with a storm bolter and thunder hammer.
Every space marine faction so far has had a terminator unit. Presumably the Blood Angels will too.

Hoping to have at least 3 jump pack marines in the faction, one of them being a chaplain. I think this faction deserves 3 named characters, with Dante Mephiston and Lemartes. Lemartes is rumoured to have a new model released when the BA get updated in the tabletop, so I hope both things overlap. Otherwise we’ll only get Dante and Mephy, which I guess is good enough. Just not as good as if Lemartes is in.
I thought there was already an avatar silhouette for the 5th tyranid in the avatar selection window, making it the default BP card for August 2024, but maybe I've seen wrong... Anyway, looking forward to future LREs as usual, they're my favourite content in the game.
EDIT: no, I checked back and it's just Tyrant Guard, which at this point maybe could still be the SP card for August... but nothing to do with Parasite coming soon.

I feel like they will be in the game but not this soon, it just doesn't feel like the fight move seeing the factions we have now
Even just the last days, it was confirmed (again) that the 5th Nid will be Epic, so it won't be Tyranids unless they change their mind
I have doubts about the sanguinary guard given their resemblance to Dante, so I feel like we’d only see them as summons and not proper heroes

As a bit of additional information, the Sanguinor appears to be being removed from the GW website, and will likely be receiving an update in the coming months. GW will likely be pushing for a release of the brand new model in this game, I'd say it's a very safe bet that the Sanguinor is coming to Tacticus fairly soon.

Personally I think we’ll get an assault intercessor (sergeant maybe?) instead of a sanguinary priest. Agree with the other 4 picks though
Talons, Grey Knights, and Tempestus would be my first choices for more imperial but Blood Angels are cool :) I hope they don't end up too similar to WE
There was stir when they released Azrael as epic and if I remember correctly they couter with phrase that they have already someone as or more worthy for DAs so I expect that final one will be legendary. But since DAs had also been designated as "special" it might not be usual LRE. As for new faction - I just had to be even more picky who I lvl up since resources comes slower than characters and after I got Rotbone in GWs, Kharn from LRE I left Asmodai and all other World Eater at stone 1 rank - I just cant fit "only average" into my lvling queue and with it, a bit sadly, comes absence of thrill for new faction - I most likely not lvl (and thus not play) them hower cool they might be unless they are OP and overshadow existing chars (and here I hope that will not be case or not for more than 1) and even then replacing D2-D3 chars you already have doesnt happen overnight.

I think Blood Angels are a very safe bet for the next faction. If not the next one, then definitely the next imperial one. As for characters I would expect them to be set up similarly to the Space Wolves. Dante is the most obvious legendary character, unless they do the Sanguinor. Mephiston as an epic character also makes sense. Sanguinary guard I want to say yes, but they might be tied to Dante somehow rather than being their own unit. The death company is an iconic part, but I’m not sure what role they would play. Blood Angel terminators are also quite iconic, mostly due to Space Hulk so we might see that as well, maybe our first assault cannon unit. The priest is also a good guess, but the imperium has a huge problem, which is Isabella. He will either be a mandatory campaign character, or he will have to be useful in more ways than just healing. So here’s what I think:
Dante (L), Sanguinor is a possibility but unlikely I think
Mephiston (E)
Sanguinary Guard (R)
Terminator with assault cannon and power fist (R)
Sanguinary priest (R)
I'm free to play but I'll drop some $ on commander Dante. I started playing 40k in 3rd Ed and I painted the old metal blood Angels models for a friend.
My poor Nids could have got deathleaper, broodlord or even mala tai as a legendary.

I am still really bummed that Tyranids get the Parasite of Mortrex rather than Old One eye as a Legendary. Like I know we just got the Biovore, especially when Death Leaper was kinda a bit weird with the rest of the nids play style. Even NeuroTyrant would have been cool. Idk Parasite just isn't as cool as some of the nids other units.
The real question is if they will they be the next campaign faction?
SP says each new campaign should have a new faction but if BA are getting a LRE does that rule them out for a campaign.
I don’t think it would rule them out as much as just delay the mirror campaign release until after LRE #3. Eldar had 2 LRE characters that had to finish up their final events before they became farmable in saim hann mirror
If we get Dante as Chapter Master as a LRE, then I would wonder why did Snowprint do the Dark Angels and Azrael so dirty? Azrael is also a chapter master, yet he did not get a LRE, cuz he is only Epic...

The death company and the sanguinius preast are Blood Ravens and not Blood Angles.

I wouldn´t call Dante equivalent to Calgar. Calgar reigns over the realm of Ultramar (or so he did till Papa Smurf returned - praise be!). But that may just be my inner Codex Astartes talking.
Also (at least some) Blood Angels need Jump Packs. A Sanguinary Priest with one would be cool as hell
