I am from Corning, CA. We are going to make these in our senior arts & crafts class at church in late November. Yes, I have begun Christmas shopping! Thank you for your tutorial.
This year candy cane wreath wire are much much smaller by atleast 2 inches and when I finish my decorating I was greatly disappointed. It didn't look like a candy cane. But you example is beautiful. Thanks you sharing.
I am from Texas and I just recently bought a travel trailer for my kids to stay in until they can save up money and this is perfect for them they are going to love it
My daughter did a candy cane decor with beautiful colored burlap ribbon. She gave me her extra candy cane foarm so the other day we went to the dollar tree for my supplies. I had seen this vide before, but I needed to watch this again before I started. Thank you fo sharing!🧡💜💙💗
I have everything I need to make this wreath, including the exact same ribbon (I got it years ago), I only have 1 of the large candy canes, and 5 of the new smaller ones. I've been ready with Christmas presents since May (2021), I don't usually get done so early, but with covid, and being stuck at home, I made everything. I'm in Idaho. 🎅🎁🎄(candy cane) Thank You for sharing Your Time, and Talent with all of us.
I made the candy cane wreath today using your tutorial and love it! Also, I made and added a green bow with sparkles along with a lollipop pick that had red and green balls on it. Gifting it to my neighbor for her birthday. Thank you so much too for the bow tutorial! I was at my parents and in-loves gravesites recently decorating and totally forgot how to make a bow with print only on one side! Wish I had watched your tutorial all the way through earlier. 😄 Merry Christmas! 🎄✝
THANK YOU SO SO MUCH for actually teaching, instead of just talking. I have been trying to find a good tutorial for this type of wreath. I am not a patient person when it comes to learning something that I have never done before. This will be my first time working with deco mesh for anything. I don’t mind the “teacher” talking, as long as she’s teaching at the same time - exactly like you do in this tutorial. I had to let you know that I appreciate that. The tutorial I clicked on just before yours was terrible. I stopped at the 10:40 mark because she hadn’t started making anything by that time. So Thank you again for teaching me how to do this 😀
Could you consider doing a fire fighter themed wreath? Perhaps the Maltese cross for instance. My husband's a firefighter and it would be awesome to have a wreath to represent the fire service personnel. The candy cane looks awesome as do all the wreath tutorials you create. Thank you for sharing!
JULIE I AM A NEW WREATH MAKER. HAVE BEEN WATCHING SEVERAL TUTORIALS. I FIND YOURS IS THE MOST HELPFUL. I JUST WISH WHEN I HAD QUESTIONS OR NEEDED ADVICE THERE WAS SOMEONE I COULD ACTUALLY TEXT.
I have had my candy cane wreath for over a year. I never saw anything that I was crazy about. Yours is the best I have seen so far. Thanks for sharing. I'm definitely making this one. Wow love the idea of putting the clear spray to stop the fraying.☃🎄☃
North Carolina, I will have finished my Christmas Shopping by week's end. We always decorate Thanksgiving day with the tree and following up with the weekend of decorating the outdoors. I do hope you have a blessed Thanksgiving. I try to have all that behind me so I can focus all my time on cooking for Christmas. The Girls in our family always get together and make candy's cakes and goodies for the Christmas season each year. Christmas play at church with family get-togethers.
Julie I know that it is very very time consuming but if you have time the night before you plan on making the wreath cut the mesh your desired size and go over the edges with clear nail polish, it seals the edges and it will not fray. I made one 2 yrs ago and it goes outside from Nov. 1st to Jan. 15th and it has never frayed and all I do before I store it is to lightly brush it with a soft bristled make-up brush, and lightly spray it with hair spray.( any kind will do). Love your wreaths and I have made 3 different ones so far.TFS🌺🎁🎄🌺
Yes I would like to see the cross wreath frame from dollar tree.... I've have several and I'm not sure how or what to make out of them... Of course I'm into burlap lol....
Thank you for making this video. I had no idea how to go about making a wreath like this so you've helped me out a lot! I'm so glad you showed how to make a bow. I've tried before but it was more of a happy accident lol.
Dollar tree in Alabama doesn’t sell this kind of mesh, only very small rolls of mesh that is really more like tulle. Can get the 6” deco mesh like this at Hobby Lobby. Very pretty candy cane!
#replay Love your ideal of making this this is the best video that I saw will be making it soon bought the candy cane and did not know how to do it Thank you from Pennsylvania
Thank you for putting me in the Christmas spirit. It is absolutely beautiful. I would also love to see how you make a Christmas tree wreath. Thank you so much again.
Hi from North Carolina. I haven't started my Christmas shopping yet. I was looking for a simple way to make the candy cane wreath so glad I watched yours it is simple. You make some beautiful wreaths and easy to follow directions. Thanks for sharing 😀. Have a blessed day.🌲
I really love this! I've been waiting to use my candy cane form until I found what I wanted to do and this is it. I love the starburst look to the mesh. The candy canes are from Dollar Tree because I recently bought some. Thank you for showing a wreath made by hand, that is much appreciated!
Great tutorial! This is my first time doing this and you made it SO easy for me to follow! I started my Christmas decorating a week ago, so I'm definitely getting in the Spirit! (After the year our country has had, decorating for Christmas early was my therapy!)
Excellent now I can complete my candy cane wreaths. Could not make them without your instructions that are clear and precise. Happy and Blessed Thanksgiving to your family from Happy Valley Oregon. I hope people will say they are making things for Christmas and not just for the Holidays. It is okay to say Merry Christmas. I have the candy canes and they are from the Dollar Store. Thanks again
Good afternoon, I just love this candy cane. I'm thinking this is a good way for me to work on my patiences because this is not quick and simple craft. I'm from Greensboro, NC. I still have fall/thanksgiving stuff up outside and in one of my bathrooms.
🎅🎄🤶 Super cute. I'm in Scotland and can't get the candy cane wreath form, but will try to mimic it with wire. Thanks for sharing and giving me the inspiration to try it 🤗
I bought a package of the little decorative candy canes at Dollar Tree just the other day. This is such a great project. I accidentally ordered too many of these candy cane shape forms from the Dollar Tree website. ( I’m embarrassed to say how many) you have given me other ideas on how to decorate them. So very cute and I love the ribbons!! 🎅🏻🎅🏻🎅🏻🎅🏻
Julie I love this wreath, I would really love to get the artificial evergreen garland and wrap it on the candycane reef. Our dollar store tends to run out of things quickly so I’ll have to get lucky with that
Julie I really like your candy cane wreath 🎅🎄 It looks so easy I think I’ll do wreathes soon I have to get my supplies Depends what holiday I am gonna make one for I keep my tree up all year round and decorate it for the different holidays Louann

🎅🎅🎅 going to dollar tree in the morning 😁 wish me luck. I have rheumatoid arthritis so my hands aren't that great to begin with. Add on that I had surgery on my wrist and 2 fingers on my left hand less than 2 months ago that isn't healing right. Yep its going to be a challenge, but I have yet to back down from a challenge and I'm not going to start now!
Great tutorial. I have the materials to make this wreath and your pattern of the starburst mesh is exactly what I will b using. Also thanks for the anti fray hack with the clear matte spray paint. I bought black and white Buffalo check mesh @ $ Tree and found it frays badly so I may try this method or use my wood burner tool next time. Do you think extra hold hair spray could also b used as an anti fray method? Love all your tutorials. Just bought a wire snowman wreath form from $Tree. Could u do a tutorial on that? Love all of them that you do. Thanks again. ❤️
My name is Gail and I live in South Carolina. I watch a lot of your makings of wreaths.
