Ordered one yesterday. Looking forward to this mouse. Been using the G302 for 8 years now. Needed a wireless and lighter option and this mouse seems right for my need.
I ordered one too. Had the g102 and jt did the job well but the wire was always bugging me and getting in the way. Upgrading to the g305 for wireless conectivity alone
The sensor in this mouse is it's knockout feature, as well as the surprisingly low latency for wireless. It's biggest flaw is how quickly the switches fail. Within three months of moderate use, double click and click'n'drag issues surfaced. Almost everyone will need to swap out the crappy OEM switches with something better. I opted for Kailh 8.0 switches, and those not only felt a little better, but they've lasted far longer than the OEM switches. The only other issue is that the finish wears quickly, with smooth, "oily" looking areas on the mouse button areas, but this is only a superficial issue (and it can be remedied with grip-tape). With better switches, this mouse is just about perfect. One last thing is that weighting of the mouse is a bit awkward with a AA cell inserted; it's "back heavy." Using a AAA with an adapter instead fixes this issue completely, and with a AAA, the mouse feels balanced to use.
@@Pang-nn4eq A bit tedious, but pretty easy overall. You have to remove the mouse skates to get at the screw. Then you have to disconnect two connectors inside the mouse. Then, some more disassembly to free to the two little circuit boards that switches mount to. Once you're there, it's a simple matter of de-soldering the old switches, soldering in the new ones, then reverse all the steps to re-assemble. Buy replacement mouse skates before you start the project, because there's a good chance you'll damage one or more of the skates when you go to peel them off.
Love this mouse. For those that have it, do you use the wired extension cable to get the dongle close to your mouse? The instructions say it should be 20 cm in front of the mouse... but I'd like to not have another wire on my desk, my computer is pretty close to my mouse... I've tried it with and without. I don't notice a difference... but certainly don't want to hurt performance as I play FPS games where milliseconds matter. Just curious what users have experienced.
I just bought and started using it. I'm not using the cable because i'm not keep on having a wire anywhere on sight either and haven't really notice a difference when I play games so far! I do only play adventure games though. A person who plays FPS games may or may not notice a difference better than I can.
You would only need to use the extension if your PC is somewhat far away from the mouse, or there's some source of interference between the dongle and the mouse. I use it because I have a wall mounted PC (using the Thermaltake P3 case), and my monitors are between the mouse and the PC, and so would cause signal loss or interference. The extension cable lets me get around the issue completely.

niiice very good deal, I've been using this mouse for a year, great product, you can mod it with a lithium AAA battery to make it weigh less which is what I did. The stock mouse feet are crumbling off and I do have some connection issues sometimes and it has gotten me killed in game but it does not happen often at all, probably once every couple of weeks, but I think the good parts of this mouse outweigh these cons

Hi everyone. I lost accidentally my mouse receiver for this G304, can someone give some advice what to do? because it seems that there is no seller selling the receiver of this mouse.
So im treating my self with this mouse next week should i buy it im not bigest gamer ever but i play simulation games and i spent lot of time on my gaming laptop.
So, when I got one that creaked and squeaked like there`s no tomorrow that was a fluke? Because i had this and it felt like it was going to fall apart and every time I grabbed it, it creaked so loud I had to turn the sound up on my in ears, I could also feel it in my hand. Performance-wise it was nice, but it was a total POS as far as build goes, I`ve had and still have, 20-30 dollar mice that were built better, like the HyperX Pulsefire Core. I know the Core is wired, but the G305 is built like trash, at least mine was.
Got this mouse for Christmas as ima strong gamer. For £50 it delivered well. 16 CPS butterfly click and 14 CPS jitter. Can also physically drag click but most the clicks dont register.
I don't like the button behind the scroll wheel. Its a smooth low profile but is slippery. Also the double click isn't as great as cheaper logitech models. Returning.

This mouse is definitely not worth 38$ or whatever the price is, I bought mine for that money. I replaced my old Microsoft wireless 900 I bought in 2015, after 7 years, since the click started failing. I'm a bit shocked by crappy plastics that logitech put into this mouse, its all cracky, if you knock on it with a finger, you get a sense that its empty, also the hatch on top would probably get lose soon if I continue to put dongle in there when moving to different workstation. I'm seriously considering buying new MS 900 since I have found it for 23$ and using it, since it is much more solid and convenient than this overpriced crap. I can also bet my left nut that there's no way in hell g305 would last anywhere close to 7 years.
I have one, it's garbage. The left mouse button is already failing. I remember when a mouse would last 20 or 30 years without failure. Now we're lucky to get two years. I'd bet money it's planned obsolescence.
