I don't want to risk googling anything since i'd like to watch all the different endings. Which ending did i get? It was tough, we suffered, BUT I DID IT!!!! Another Black Ops campaign completed! I hope you guys enjoy this video! ❤

For the record: Hudson never betrayed you. As you thought: it was someone in the CIA. Hudson was fed false orders and when he realized what happened he had no choice because Menendez had David.

Some people theorize that it was Macknight, he was so pissed about his wife complaining all the time that he decided to betray the USA and his friends.

Menendez to this day is still my favorite villain CoD had. Definitely the last best cod campaign
No doubt he is the best written antagonist on the entire franchise, I think general Sherperd is the second.

what i loved about suffer with me and what makes menendez my favorite villain is how he was able to get hudson, mason, and woods in the same room, (potentially) tricking woods to kill mason, disabling woods for life and killing hudson. he took the original crew out in one mission.
For those confused why she didnt get the good ending, at 29:50 look at the Strike Force. Unfortunately she forgot to do the last strike force mission where you have to kill Zhao😭its all good tho! Its easy to miss

The reason you got the bad ending is because you never did the strike force missions, meaning the Obama wasn’t saved, so Karma died on board.
aahh..so that’s why the cyberattack wasn’t prevented at 1:58:40 I wasn’t aware karma could die if the Obama wasn’t saved, just that she only lives if farid is around.

Mason only dies if you shoot his head....but you didn't kill Menendez at the end so he'd escape and kill woods...if you had killed Menendez then you'd see the cutscene of mason and woods reuniting only
Obama is lost?! I thought you did the Strike Force Missions. Even if you miss one Strike Force, it heavily influences the ending. Since the Obama sunk, Karma and Briggs both died, meaning there was no one who could stop Menendez's 'endgame'

The obama is lost, if you dont complete the strike force missions (Which require the tutorial to understand how it works, or else you think its the same as the main missions) china becomes your enemy and don’t save the obama in which kills Karma, thats why you got the English scientist who couldn’t stop the celerium from hacking the entire world, whereas Karma can cause she worked on celerium for years. Otherwise your better off to shoot Menendez, which would give you the series canon ending. Everyone lives but due to Menedez’s death riots begin and the world is changed forever, leading to the story in BO3 and BO4, timeline order BO4 then BO3 (for some reason).
She did em except for the Mission Dispatch where you kill Tian Zhao in Pakistan.
BO3 and 4 don't exist (we're coping)

Your mistakes were to not finish strike force missions and let menendez live
Menendez killed himself because now all of josefina’s killers are dead (he thought mason was dead)
Hey Sky, when you finish with Cod, i would recommend you check out Spec Ops: The Line. Its another military based shooter but with a darker story
By the way the Black Ops Cold War storyline is set in 1981 and what happened to Mason Woods and Hudson was in 1989 so that means Cold War happened before the Black Ops 2 flashbacks
I've never actually seen an ending where someone gets Mason alive but Menendez still kills Woods at the end. Thats new to me

Since Karma died, she was not able to prevent the Celerium virus from spreading, which in turn unlocked Menendez's cell

they dont make them like this anymore, this was the golden era when CoD really was the best game franchise, the campaigns, the multiplayer/ esports and the zombies were all peak back then so the nostalgia is hitting hard lol, also after cold war would be a great point to do the OG modern warfare games, ghosts is pretty great too although not really connected to any of the other games
the first hour was her going through a roller coaster of emotions after putting mason to sleep brutally and then killing harper

Fun fact the choices you make impacts the ending. But also throughout different missions small different cutscenes. Especially in server room where salazar betrays us there is like 5 different scenarios depending on your decision or more. And a glitched cutscene where everyone is alive in that moment Bo2 was ahead of its time
Edit: The last mission was thr best compared to othet CODS especially when gliding down the multiplayer theme was playing! LOVE THIS CAMPAIGN also you got the bad end

I remember the promotional stuff for this game back in 2012 talked a lot about how they predict drone warfare as the future of combat. The campaign was made based on that concept. Basically this was their vision of what 2025 war would be like back in 2012. And, looking at Ukraine, Israel, and everything else going on in the world, it's amazing and scary how close they got. A drone swarm is definitely something we'll unfortunately be seeing on the news soon.

Ive talked to veterans that were in the special froces back in the 80s and they said that the goverment already had that technology back then but they were still testing it. It the only thing they were willing to say since they also are limited to what they can talk about. If they said such thing back then they would have been in trouble but since everybody can see it now they dont mind them revealing that.
Second chance is your another chance to save Karma (Chloe Lynch), not a strikeforce mission, u have to fulfill all 4 strikeforce missions (not included 'Second Chance') so u will get the Best Ending.
Menendez was literally the riddler of the cod series
They dont want to kill Menendez because he would become a martyr for millions of people

You should definitely check out the other endings AND the outro to the game! For some reason it didnt play but its pretty cool to see
I believe Hudson wasn’t the mole in the cia. I can understand how seeing him being so ignorant of there being a mole sounds suspicious but we gotta understand his character. He probably thought in his head that there was no way there could be a mole with how “secure” the cia is in black ops universe. He definitely wasn’t perfect but he did what he had to do to make sure David wouldn’t die.
I think it's also worth noting that Woods is biased and as a result unreliable about Hudson. Woods has always been distrustful of the CIA and CIA types and didn't like Hudson even when they first met in BO1. Woods only thinks Hudson was the great evil mole all along because ultimately from his POV what happened was a giant case of confirmation bias. But truthfully the entire situation was way more complex.

I hope you do a reaction video to all the endings. And it's not just the ending that changes, there's a specific scene that has 20 something different outcomes depending on your chioces. It's crazy.

That ending was the bad ending for this game in order to get the good ending don't shoot mason in the head, shoot his leg twice after you do that you will get something called family reunion at the end shoot menendez and you will get a very wholesome ending. When i got this ending i cried so much and i was cheering I'm like i did it!! Yes!! You should definitely do a reaction to what i told you it'll be great you won't regret it!
She didn't shoot Mason in the head. I think she got the bad ending because she didn't finish the last strike force mission.
@@MrRazor414 Yes actually that is why, i’ve played this game too many times to count lol, because since the last Strike Force mission, that makes China actually form a coalition with the US and save the Obama which in turns saves Karma, which in turn she’s able to stop the cyber attack seen in the final cutscene

@@combatmilk5832I think that’s if Karma is dead. For my first playthrough I killed Menendez but Karma lived, I think she stops a final broadcast thing when Menendez dies
She needed to complete strike mission as well to get that wholesome ending

Alex is my favorite cod character partially because of his OG voice actor, 2:13 not sure who you were referring to here Alex or frank but if you like Alex masons voice actor (Sam Worthington) you should watch the movie "Hacksaw RIdge" if you havent already, Sam Worthington plays as Captain Jack Glover. Sam is also Australian doing American accents in both hacksaw ridge & him voicing Alex mason. its one of my favorite movies of all time and black ops 1 is my favorite game ever, Sam Worthington just does great stuff. also loved this and black ops 1, glad to see what else you play!
also sam worthington plays someone in avatar i personally have never seen it. also if your looking for suggestions on games to play next, you should play the OG Call of duty Modern Warfare Series, (Modern warfare 1, 2 & 3) its my 2nd favorite "storyline" with the Black ops one being 1st obviously🤣
Have you considered playing Cyberpunk 2077 before? It's been vastly improved since its rocky release, and the 2.12 version it's currently in is almost like a different game.
The story, characters and world are some of the most memorable, fascinating stuff I've ever played, and that goes double for the expansion, Phantom Liberty.
Absolutely 10/10 experience with lots of interesting choices and moral dilemmas to face along the way, especially in Phantom Liberty. Really hope you'll try it some day.
You didn't do one of the strike force missions. You need to do them as soon as they are available, that's why the Obama was destroyed

And all of the Modern Warfare games (not the reboots, the old ones... honestly, the MW story is amazing and is on the same level as black ops.)

Sky, you literally made ALL the right choices!! The only reason I can think of how you got the bad ending was not completing the Strikeforce Missions. If you had, then China would've been on our side and the Obama wouldn't have been destroyed.
Reading the comments, it was because I missed ONE strike force mission 😭 completely on accident too. I was doing them all and finished one of these missions and didn’t realize it’d take my strike force away 😅

I loved your playthrough, though, and I'm hella impressed at your reasoning for making all the right choices. Your emotional reaction to the major deaths mirrors my own experience first time around. Hi Sky! Mason stayed hidden for 30 years to protect David. If Raul had found out mason was still alive, David would’ve been in danger. So to avoid it, mason decided to stay way from David to not be hunted by Raul.
I hope you play the OG modern warfare campaign series too, Makarov is one the best villains in cod history.

Raul Menendez was Call of Duty's own version of The Joker.
Such a good Call Of Duty Campaign. The one thing I’ve always been conflicted about is Alex Mason is one of the coolest characters in Call of Duty. But with that being said this ending with you shooting him in the leg and surviving I’ve never liked. To me I just can’t think of a way they could explain him just being gone for 30 years and it making sense.
alex survived on the sniper shooting, because you didnt shoot on his head. you saved him with choosing to shooting lover body

There's like five endings in this game. The canon ending is, Alex Mason lives, Raul Menendez dies, Karma dies and Harper lives. Also, At the end of the credits, Menendez and Woods playing a song titled "Carry On", with the band Avenged Sevenfold.
Mason death is canon this was confirmed by Treyarch for bo6

She died. She (and Briggs) were still on board the Obama, and I'm assuming Sky didn't finish the strike force ops and neutralize Zhao. Which meant China didn't send any reinforcements to defend the Obama.
I thought that for a second but I think it’s because the Obama got destroyed and I’m assuming karma died on board

Black ops 6, which comes out this year, October 25, 2024, is a direct sequel to Cold war(Early 80's) being set around the time of the gulf war (late 80's early 90's) , It's also a direct sequel to black ops 2's 2025 setting, unlike Black Ops 3 which was set between 2065 and 2070

played this game many times and have discovered about 5 endings (2 good, 1 neutral(didn't know about until I got it), 2 bad) and many different interactions based on your actions and the side missions(you got a bad one-there's one worse). Harpers face doesn't change the story really just how he looks, he ugly either way (burned face is a minor improvement 😂)

Its absolutely wild how close you were to the perfect ending on your first play through. Literally 1 Strike Force mission away. Asked all the right questions and had all the right observations about the story. I completely get not doing the final Strike Force mission from a gameplay perspective, though, they are genuinely the worst part of the game and on some level negatively impact the playthrough experience. Glad you enjoyed the rest, though, Suffer With Me is probably one of my favorite video game levels in terms of storytelling of all time.
