Some advice: Do not convert to 12 volt. 6 volt works fine if you have a good battery. But if you convert to 12 volt, there is a trick that I know, how to make the gas gauge work on 12 volt without burning it out. I have done this on several old chevys, including my own 1949 3/4 ton truck. Happy to tell you how to do the gas gauge if you like, is very easy and costs almost nothing.
Oh, I also can tell you how to run the 6 volt blower motor on 12 volts without burning it out, also very easy and very cheap. Do not buy those big resistors at the auto parts store, they don't work for that.
Beautiful car!
Wonderful car sir
Cars were made for the full year 1941 and for about 5 months in 1942 when they ceased for the war effort.
