You flew on the 29-08-22 which is a Monday, and it looks to be a relatively nice experience. We flew the exact same flight on Saturday the 10-09-22 and had a totally different experience. Check in was fine, even security wasn't too bad about 10 minutes wait, then the "fun" starts. In duty fee the woman on the till refused to serve us as we were paying by card, you have to do it yourself at the card pay station. If you wanted food or drink, you had to queue to be seated, then you had to queue again to put your order in. The whole departure lounge is filthy, with dirt on the floors, the cloth covered seats are badly stained, that's if you are lucky to find a seat. We saw families with small children having to sit on the floor because there wasn't enough seating. The toilets are a disgrace, they stink and are filthy, and you still have to queue. For the whole of the departure lounge, just 2 cubicles and 3 urinals for the gents. The flight was great and on time, the Spanish flight attendants were very friendly and helpful and the jet2 staff all work together really well. Faro airport was very busy with 4 flights arriving within a few minutes of each other, but it all was very well organised, and queues flowed quite quickly. it was clean including the toilets. Just shows how an airport can be efficient and clean, and a good experience. I live in the Northwest, but Manchester Airport you need to get your act together
Nice video. Faro is one of my favourite destinations. What was the relationship like between the Wamos and Jet2 crew? I’ve seen when airlines combine crew it can get a little cliquey?
omg im dying at my voice doing the announcement at the gate for your flight haha. Hope you had a lovely time :)
Great video! I flew on the Jet2 A330 Air tanker to Tenerife last month.
