    My husband and I are thinking of moving to Tampa for an apartment and I’ve been seeing your videos and reading your comment section. I appreciate how you interact with people and take feedback for your newer videos.
    Even though I’m new to your channel I do appreciate the kindness and respect you give.

    Excellent video with some points I had not seen before. I totally understand the 'being a destination' after moving to central Florida. After so many years being a free Airbnb, I had to establish a timeframe for visits during the year. Otherwise, it's like running a hotel, and as you said people expect you to abandon all your commitments (and go out for dinner and sleep late every day, etc etc), but what really affected us and made us establish some rules is that it was affecting my son school grades with people over all the time.
    You are welcome to visit, but in July only, other than that we are closed for business... LOL

    Because of where ive been living 25 years and 2 years in the north east, none of these 10 things are an issue for me except financial… otherwise i would move to florida tomorrow…

    Ok, let me explain to you yankees why the pace/service is slower. Think about the heat/humidity. Life in the South moves slower bc it’s HOT. Remember that when you’re visiting. 😉

    I didn’t understand the need for the generator.. does the power go offline often in Tampa?

    • @trulivingtampa
      @trulivingtampa  7 месяцев назад +1

      Not where I live. Biggest thing is you don’t want to be shopping for one when and if a hurricane rolls through.

    I like Florida. But some have called it the hate state. Are the natives not very welcoming down there?

    • @trulivingtampa
      @trulivingtampa  8 месяцев назад +2

      There are natives who aren't very welcoming everywhere. We haven't personally experienced it, we've been welcomed with open arms.

      I wouldn't say that at all! There are barely any "natives". Everybody is from somewhere else.

    may I ask how do Tampa wives handle when their husbands walk around other women who may be wearing half naked clothes because of hot weather? Sorry for such weird question, I wondered if couples' conflict, infidelity and jealousy is more in the south than in the north states due to hot climate

      Great question. Honestly, it's not an issue at all.
