the thing is, this is john's mind. it's easy for someone now to think it's age but it isn't - eno spoke about being in the studio with him and said that he appeared distracted.
it's a pity that john davies can not play this week because of a bout of covid sweeping the camp! can not wait to see john in february if the concert or gig is rescheduled and i have researched john ijn what i am doing and the velvets are on top of my list! would love to meet john and ask about the sixties and the times we are living in now and where he gets his inspiration! peter from southport
what a strange conversation! John was trying to connect the dots, but couldn't because the interviewer wasn't on the same page, or even in the same book.
little interview tip - never let the guest hold the mic. even if they work in music, they forget to hold it to their mouths. always just have mics on stands or levalier mics.
Why the hell do they have people who don't know much about the person they are interviewing to do these interview. This guy is horrible. No presence and little knowledge about Cale. There are dozens of diehard Cale fans that could do a better job and know much about him that they could build the interview on.
John Cale: “Lady Godiva here dressed so demurely, pats the head of another curly haired boy”…”underneath the white light, doctor arrives with knife and baggage, sees the growth as just so much cabbage, that now must be cut away” :)
can we PLEASE get more interviews with John Cale.
here here
i love themboth so much idk what others are talking about this is a great interview
i know. i LOVE THIS.

john cale actually had a punk album with 'magazines' on it. can't remember the name. love that song as well.
Almost like Cale is a therapist to Ezra.

you in the uk? you going to the palladium next week?
I think Cale has been down this road before. I wonder how he felt reliving elements of his Warhol Factory days but now much older?
actually i think it was brian eno who attacked cale with chopsticks. i love cale's answer as well. strong man. solid boundaries.
Trying to find these books - Alain Robbe-Grillet - Repetition is one that he is talking about. he was looking for the term 'unreliable narrator'

ezra is a bit awkward that's all. he's trying to connect the dots himself. i think he doesn't know where to move mentally.
Ezra is autistic I think and just is in her own world. That’s all. I love Ezra and think Ezra is just a unicorn 💜
genuinely surprised by how conscious and alert john is.
hes still alive and live...lol!
Ha
Pity it turn into Ezra show would have liked to have heard more from John!
Ezra, another self-centred aggrandising millennial.
I took something different away from this. John wanted to hear from Ezra, and I think you got a lot of John through what he asked Ezra.

Two men in an interview. A lot of clouds with a lot of rain.

Jesus christ this was awkward
Cool conversation, I could have stayed with it longer and deeper. A shame for those audience questions at the end, what a waste.
When an awake person tries to have a conversation with the dreaming.
who?
answer to first question= bob dylan
poor ezra never asked the proper question, yean slip of nothing, cut it
not turn away from it, grab it.....
i understand how it works
I lke them both, really, but Ezra should take some speaking lessons
Why?
Because it's John Cale you can overlook that Ezra Furman is not very good at interviews
Wuuuuuuuat?!?! I can’t stop listening to Ezra’s interviews! I mean, Ezra is like an even more fascinating person than John Frusciante.
i wish john would stop touching his nose

Hope Cale was well paid to be the guest. He looks like a counselor listening patiently to mentally troubled person.
Why is that transvestite interviewing John cale
why do you care?
Your inane question just shows how little you know about John Cale and The Velvet Underground.
@@duhusker4383 RIGHT??
If only you know about The Factory my friend
