Fantastic video, I have just started sim racing and your guide has really helped, I only live 5 miles from Brands so I need to do a track day as well, nice one 👍👍👍
I had the most fun racing the bmw touring car and group A cars on this track and the game for the most part. Didn't really enjoy the traction model of the other cars and their oversteer snapbacks aren't as smooth
Fabulous track, one of favourites in the world. So easy to get it wrong through Paddock Hill or Dingle Dell though. Feel very luck to only live about 40 minutes from there so I can go there all summer!
Ah, well the PCARS AI can be kind of weird sometimes, sometimes the 100% difficulty is unreachable for instance, like several seconds faster then the world record laptimes. Another time I did a prototype championship for instance and one car was so much faster then the other that it was basically the 10 AI in that car were always top 10 and me and the other 9 AI in the second car were always bottom 10 positions. So for your race are there AI BMWs that are competing with the Ginettas and Astons? Or are all of the BMWs struggling? And if they are going just crazy fast I would just reduce the difficulty to slow them back down to "real" speeds. As I said, sometimes they are impossibly fast on certain car/track combos.
Well the Astons and Ginettas are alway faster than the BMW's on any track but I find it pretty hard to even keep up with the other BMW's or even the Mustangs on most venues. And that's despite me being over 1 sec per lap faster than my AI competition on most tracks when I'm having a GT3 race.
Gotcha. Are you playing with the setup at all? I recommend this guide for setups: www.langamers.it/gtr/Guida_setup_GTR/Guida_GTR2.pdf It was written the old GTR2 sim but it still holds water just fine, and this is what I reference most often when doing setups. This is also definitely a car you can throw into the apexes and attack the corners, it is not too twitchy on the rear and should be able to ride curbs as well with early acceleration out of corners.
Very good. Il be putting these tips to use in Assetto Corsa
Im doing the GP track for real in May, OMG cannot wait, thanks for the guide
Does the shadow marker at Druids not move with the sun ??
You have a lot of potential. Keep going at it. This channel should have way more subs, likes and views. Try to make it famous! Good luck!

Cheers fella. I was getting owned by the bax monos. I just beat them now in a porches gt with a lead of 3secs.

Excellent video and great comments - you have a new subscriber for your channel !!
Awesome! Thanks :)
oh, look who i found!
Great video. What was your fastest time in the M3?
Thanks! Ah man, no idea about the times. It probably wasn't stellar because this video was the first time I drove the car :)
I'm just wondering because what ever I do I can't get anywhere near the other GT4 AI cars like the Ginetta or the Aston.
