God it was great to be a teenager in the 70s! We had the best damned music. We waited for albums to come out to see which one would get it first. Then we just jammed ( and toked) to it over and over til we knew every bit by heart ❤️ Enjoy your Zep journey!!

This is definitely up there as one of Led Zeppelins greats, other bangers include Communication Breakdown, Kashmir, Immigrant Song, Rock and Roll and Dazed and Confused are all so good.

People who never heard rock through headphones will never understand what you mean . The sound engineers of the 70s-80s-90s were inventing new &
creative ways to deliver the music to your brain . From giving the impression that the sound was ether swirling around your head or passing right through it , or maybe that the drummer was behind you .

If you didn’t notice already there is heavy R and B influence ❤. This music literally blew everyone away in late 60’s and 70’s. They were open, raw and in your face about sex, Vikings and a slew of other things. Still the best rock band ever! I love your analysis and the fact you don’t stop the song while it’s playing to give comments ❤❤

Plant had a MASSIVE range with his voice. He could go very low and incredibly high
Next I'd recommend either since iv been loving you or when the levee breaks. There are sooooooany great racks though you could pretty much pick any track!!

I can remember getting this album by the Zeppelin. I couldn't wait for the store that I worked for at that time to get a shipment in. As soon as this very great and legendary band came on the scene, I knew that their music would be iconic. I was fortunate enough to see them perform live everytime they came to the Tampa Stadium. I believe that I saw them at least 5 or 6 times. They are even better, much better in a live concert, believe it or not.

While I like this video because it shows clips from several of their concerts, almost a minute of the actual song was cut. Again, go with studio versions first (off the albums) if you want to be sure that you're hearing the songs in their entirety.
If you're going to do dive into Zeppelin a bit, the best way to go about it is to start with their first album and keep on going. It will give you a better idea of what they were about but be forewarned, rock music wasn't all head-banging stuff. In fact, a number of their songs are blues rock, which you might really enjoy.
In any case, it will allow to get a better feel for them, understand their progression as a band, and you'll find your own favorites along the way that might not get recommended to you by others.

Robert Plant is a tenor voice. Do Ramble On, Kashmir, and of course Stairway to Heaven. Please please when you listen to stairway to Heaven the first time make sure it’s the studio version first. After you listen to the studio version then watch the Kennedy Center honoring Led Zeppelin. You’ll be blown away for sure. Can’t wait to hear your comments on these other songs

Don't worry they cover all the flavors of the rainbow and IMO the GOATS of R&R. Speaking of 🐐 as a new sub I'm going to give you a gift by telling you to put SRV Stevie Ray Vaughn on the top of your Guitar 🎸 goats 🐐 list ASAP by reacting to anything he did but IMO Texas Flood live at El Macambo is the performance that would have beat the devil at the crossroads!

Not true. The 2007 O2 reunion concert has the definitive version of Kashmir. The Earls Court version is pretty good too, but not as good as 2007.

This is yet another song they ripped off. This one ripped off from muddy waters and changed it up a lil bit. Ninety percent of their stuff are covers or rip offs.
Greatest rock band in history my ass.
