Inspired by Theaggyu's "Moving Camera During Cutscenes" series of videos and of course by Shesez's Boundary Break.
Watch as I unlock the camera to discover hidden details and tricks/animation oddities that the developers used to either save on time and/or performance during cutscenes.

Such a nice easter egg too since the Noah we meet would never make an indecisive face like that. He was already N in that scene.

I didn't expect this video to end up being longer than Chapter 5's video.
1:08:42 is a mistake I forgot to fix before rendering. It takes 3 hours to render this video, so I'm not going back to fix it. Consider it a "behind the scenes" look at how I choose which recordings to use when I have multiple recordings of the same cutscene.
It'll be awhile before I do Chapter 7 and Future Redeemed's videos, but I have some extra Xenoblade videos coming sooner than you think.
I actually do think it'd be neat to get a side-by-side of what the cutscene is supposed to look like, because some of these are just incomprehensible
Where is Eunie and Taion's "Now I got a reliable guy" scene? It should be right before "Common variety Nopon"

Do you know if the final Xenoblade 2 cutscene is prerenderred? I was hoping someone would use a freecam mod to get a better look at Pyra's interactions with Poppi, but I don’t know if that's possible.
I am planning on doing freecam videos on XC2 once I finish doing them for XC3. But sadly, everything after the escape pod getting launched into space up to and including the post credits is pre-rendered. XC1: Definitive Edition is the only Xenoblade game that doesn't have a mostly pre-rendered ending.

@@Alban_Blade_Memer It's Ghondor until BOTH his parents admit their regrets, after which it's Mio. Rewatch "Ghondor's Path" from FR where he forces himself into Ontos's memory space (you must find your Monado). Since then he was trapped until N and M changed back to the way they felt in the picture. Separating A from Alpha was easier since that was just a machine.
Now that I mention it, this would mean Shulk+Rex+A greenlit the M/Mio merger, especially since we don't get it explained elsewhere. ("Greenlit" indeed with Ouroboros!)
@@Alban_Blade_Memer it's definitely young Noah, but my current theory is that child Noah is the creator of Aionios from his trauma of watching the planets collide, so he accidentally resonated with ontos and became it's driver, in turn accidentally creating Z asa manifestation of his wish for time to stop. it explains a lot about how he's so favoured and even gets to undo another one of his 'deaths' here. alongside that it also fixes why simulataneous Noahs and Mios exist as while N persists and M is N's refrabricated Mio, the current Noah and Mio are born again of the cycle which otherwise shouldn't be possible for Noah if he's N, taking him out of the loop. this all within the confines of Aionios of course too, meaning that once Noah can overcome his past present and future, time resumes, and origin is allowed to do its bit and reconstruct the world as intended.
