I played this in high-school and better.....
My last piece before "I retired" at our studio recital (high-school junior year, I was 17) was the 1st mvt of the Grieg Piano Concerto.
After that I continued my clarinet passion.
My mother was an honors graduate from Northwestern University in choral conducting and piano.
She didn't the three of us kids, she was too smart.
At one of her piano juries the three professors actually applauded. Unheard of then and pretty much the same now.

In my opinion, I think that he is trying to tell him how to move his hands in a more fluent motion for more effect, as you can tell from his teacher imitating his stiffness of technique and then presenting a more fluent attention and concentration of movement with the piece. Nonetheless, it sounds great!! This makes me want to try much harder on my piano skills!! 🎹

If you know what he is saying you will understand that that's not the case. He's speaking Farsi so I understood him. Essentially, he is trying to help his student be more comfortable with his hands and arms, so that he can play more smoothly and less choppy, which his body naturally wants him to do anyways. It's not that he thinks he isn't good enough, it's that he is helping him by telling the student how to relax his arms so that even more of the beauty from the students skills in Piano will come out, naturally, and not forced.

I don’t understand the language however I’m sure he was telling him to loosen his wrists because the more tension you have in the wrists the harder it will be the play chords quickly and it will sound very articulated on each chord when in reality the teacher wants a smoother horizontal tone not a jagged every chord gets banged sort of sound.
