This is my Top 10 so far this year (and like you I don't think any of these were actually published in 2024). I work in China as a teacher and for some reason I was recently able to pick up the deluxe of Black Magick for only $7 over here. Can't wait to read it.

I bought "Monsters" a year ago but only read a few pages before putting it down - It's a pretty heavy read. I'm planning to finish it this month after getting through six other books on my TBR list. Great read Larry. I am excited about Birth Right, looking forward for the hard cover. Yes2x for Black Magick, great series and Fear Agent is also my top ten list already in 2024. Hey Larry! Good list. Allot I've not read. Birthright looks up my alley. Is it dark fantasy? Cover has a Conan vibe. Monsters is indeed heavy going but what art! I think I will open and start my 2 oversized copy's of fear agent soon and read them! When you get round to Catwoman of East End by Brubaker and Cooke I guarantee it tops your list and this is coming from a guy who doesn't care much for superheroes. It's that good! 😂✌️
I am looking forward to Catwoman of Eastend! Birthright MIGHT be Dark Fantasy. Certainly that direction. I will have to see where it goes after that first arc.
Thanks! Most of the B-Roll (flipping through pages) is done with my Pixel Pro 8...but everything else is my Sony ZV-E10 with a Sony E15 F1.4 lens. I have the lens 'wide open'. I'm using the auto-focus (set for human eyes) but I have manually set the ISO to 100 and the white balance set for 4000k (to match all my lighting). Glad you like the look. I fussed over all that for a long time and it was a lot to learn but I am happy with the result.
Sort of. But years of collecting have proven stapled comics tend to be more durable than glued TPBs. I mean they require boards and bags and all that but they don't fall apart just from reading a few times
@@burntdice2810 Hah-hah! To tell ya the truth most of the newer TPBs I've encountered have been fairly robust. I think I'm gun-shy from all those early ones that were VERY fragile!
