Got myself some hot macaroni and cheese with some tuna and roasted broccoli in it. Perfect 55 degrees out, windows open, Baer on the big screen, and a 3 hour DD2 run. Todays a good day, absolutely love the content Baer no matter how I can watch it. Thank you for everything :)
I beat up the librarian pretty easily most of the time. Even on most Dark runs. So I don't think he's generally OP. One thing Baer never does is prioritize pure damage. Yeah, Toe to Toe protects your back ranks but so does killing the enemies 2-3x faster with wicked hack. Set up your teams to fight the boss fights, not the regular fights. Prioritize the right gear (e.g., milk for Librarian; move resist or move response). But I still think that in DD2, offense > defense. Damage now is usually > a little extra damage later. I could go on, but part of the reason I watch Baer is because he tries lots of different tactics than I do. Interesting to see what works and what doesn't. And this video was just about perfect to watch in terms of tension and the ending!
What a finish! I'm sad for you Baer, but that was an awesome run. There was one hilarious thing at the end there. The flagellant was in the Deaths Door animation even when he had half HP.
This is an ominous title to be sure. Still, I don't think anyone else could have gotten so close with such a huge setback midway through. Amazing perseverance baer!
Love mantra for the vestal, healing with no threshold and just a little set up, genuinely so much more usable than divine grace because of it’s combined utility with consecrations
I swear Piercing Bolt Volley is more dangerous than most Lair Boss moves. Like, double digit damage and bleed on all heroes with basically no cooldown is crazy for a normal fight.

Librarian is the easiest boss for most teams

Oh I feel your pain, I got lucky and ended this sucker on bb with a 1 hp man at arms as last the one standing. The lungs are the worst.

Right at the end, I think if you had hit the lung to stop the sundering exhalation instead of healing, you would have won.
Tbh he makes alot of missplays like it. Heal 30 but take like 60 because of it. Also not using combat items to keep the tempo up
