To work
9:28 - setting up your interface
10:40 - side note (built in microphone works as an interface as long as you have headphones plugged into it)
11:33 - interface and Latency test - What is latency
12:45 - Setting up inputs - You can actually select all your inputs as options to be added to a JamKazam session. Choose your outputs and “match” for sample rate. Then on the next screen you can decide how many tracks go into your JamKazam session.
My question is, if you have more tracks does it create more latency?
30:33 network Test failed ? Port forwarding
14:45 - JamKazam Program tour
15:04 - Find Session
15:52 - question - Is the Latency comparison (when you hover over someone and latency says “poor” or “acceptable”) in JamKazam accurate?
I’ve been able to play together just fine when I’ve been given a “poor” latency compared to someone else

LIFE SAVING!!! for the zero tech that i am cheers
Thanks for the vid! ;-)
Groundbreak Games you’re welcome! I’ve been using JamKazam for bringing in remote guests to my live-streams and it’s been super solid thus far.
I’ll be posting an update video as the session window has now changed with their updates
Just subbed to the platinum version. I'm wondering if everyone playing together has to be subbed or can they use the free membership as long as I'm the host?
I have the platinum version and do lessons all the time with students who use the free version.
@@BellinghomeSchoolofMusic Thank you for your quick response. Awesome.
@@BellinghomeSchoolofMusic Has this changed in the meantime? I did read about a changing of sub-tiers and such.
Question: Is the video of the three of y'all being transmitted over Jamkazam? (I know your output video is from OBS, but are you receiving the video of the other two dudes over JamKazam?
Hi Sean, for the purposes of the class, I ran my video through OBS but if you watch at the beginning of the stream at 1:52 you can see what it looks like with us all 3 being transmitted through Jamkazam.
I’ve found it most stable and the lowest latency to use zoom for the video and JamKazam for audio only.
I haven’t really tried out the video as of lately. They are now a paid service and have made improvements they say with speed and stability. I’ll keep you informed on any new discoveries and let me know your findings if you don’t mind! Thanks for checking out the video
Oh! And at the end 44:08 that’s all coming through JamKazam. I was using an ATEM mini pro for my video connected to a go pro hero 7. The ATEM just shows up on JamKazam as a webcam. I actually have upgraded and am selling my ATEM MINO pro if you’re Interested...
So everyone who want to use Jamkazam will set up following your instruction or there is one main set and other just sub set?
So do you still think this is the best for jamming ? Has the video in JamKazam been upgraded ?
Nick. Is JamKazam work with FL studio instead of Orion?
Nick - Does your bass / guitar ever shoot rockets or lasers out of the head, spontaneously, while you play?
Haha, yes and lighting bolts! Whats happening Duran!?
@@BellinghomeSchoolofMusic Just trying to find happiness in this horrible time. Also, shopping for an interface that is affordable, but good. How about you?
Can Jamkazam be used to record yourself in multiple panes on the same window? one pane would be me playing the guitar part, another would be me playing a harmonica, another singing melody, another of me sing harmony
Hi Gerry, Jamkazam is meant for connecting with other artists remotely over ethernet connections. What you're describing totally different and can be done with a video camera or phone and combining the videos in a video editor like Adobe Premier or Final Cut Pro.
I was wondering if you know if jamkazam will work with an I pad?
Not on an iPad. You need a PC or Mac with an audio interface hooked up.
Thank you for the info
Much appreciated!
Can we use our phones for this or any other similar thing?
Hi Valerie, you cannot use a phone. You need a computer with a wired ethernet connection, plus an audio interface and webcam if you're going to use video.
Nick any way of helping me out with Jamkazam?
Yes for sure Mario! Email frontdesk@bellinghomeschoolofmusic.com to set an appointment. Thanks
Hi Mario and progress on your set up and passing the JamKazam set up audio gear test?
@@BellinghomeSchoolofMusic Thanks Nick, well someone did in fact send me email from JamKazam and was able to login with no problems but it was just too much time wasted on setting up that I did not want the other band members to deal with it. We'll just practice with Mask On.
Will this stream to RUclips or Facebook?
JamKazam has a live broadcast feature where you can stream to RUclips Live, Facebook Live, or Twitch. I would check what subscription level you need to be on for that feature to be enabled.
@@BellinghomeSchoolofMusic thanks!
