For this visit, we sent SJ Strum round to visit Deborah James' home aka Bowelbabe. Deborah sadly lost her battle with bowel cancer on 28th June 2022 but left behind an incredible legacy with a Damehood for her work raising funds and awareness for cancer. We met Dame Deborah in 2018 when she was journalling her experiences of battling bowel cancer whilst also being a mum.
