    The guy with the ear lobes, was classed as fashionable - i have seen more strength in a wet paper bag, even the sister did not acknowledge his existence, i feel that relationship is going to fissle out very soon. and the other couple i have never seen somebody so happy in having a room with a two by 4 to sit around. Apart from that Kirstie and Phil great show as usual.

    • @BritGirlJay
      @BritGirlJay Год назад +11

      Not for what is termed a cottage industry (literally can be done in a cottage/residential area without disturbing neighbors). Larger scale yes you need to be in a property that is sold as 'retail/manufacturing/whatever'. They don't zone areas unless it's like a business park. As in most older countries, small stores intermingle with residential areas - which is great for the 'local shop' that people can walk easily to from their homes.

Cheap to do, too. BUT NO INTEREST AT ALL. ???

    • @thehungrygoldfish

      Yes, but the house doesn't fit their needs. Remember, they wanted a dining room. Yes, it's an eat-in kitchen, but look at where the table is. It's smushed in the corner because of the cabinets around it and the sellers wanted to give the illusion of space. The chairs are literally up against the wall. When they're using it, they can't access the counter or cabinets and it looks like it's a squeeze.

    Do sellers that change their mind required to pay any kind of cancellation fees? So many people putting in work to sell their house it would be a shame if their agent got nothing.

    Here in the states we declutter and paint the walls neutral colors before selling and it makes a big difference for the buyers to imagine themselves in the house.

      I actually looked like last month. Prices are relatively affordable. The prices in Redcar seemed more or less the same and there were A TON of houses for sale.

    NONE OF THESE HOMES HAVE BASEMENTS, LAUNDRY ROOMS, ENTRANCE CLOSETS FOR COATS AND SHOES. VERY DIFFERENT. WASHING MACHINES IN THE KITCHEN TAKING AWAY VALUABLE STORAGE SPACE. NO DRYERS OR DISHWASHERS, ETC.

      @@karent-s7639 I missed that part where she said "apres tu". (I scrolled back to find it but was unsuccessful.) But if that's what she said, then based on these comments, it seems to me that when she said "Do you mind the 'tu'," she meant "do you mind my tutoyering you instead of vousvoyezing", and Tony laughingly said "no". Whereas (according to my high school French) I think the faux pas folks are pointing out here is that she should have said "apres *toi* ". Or apres vous, whatever.
