Well done A.M.T Fixing! I've been looking for a while to find a RUclips video of the plug change for the 5th generation CRVs. Thank you for sharing this!
so so helpful. thanks!! need to do this soon. didn't want to hurt anything while removing the cover, as the vehicle i am working on will be the same one needed to make any parts run if i damaged something. this vid answered all my questions.
Great stuff. I highly recommend using dielectric tune up tube and anti-seize lubricant. One for one end and the second for the other end. Read instructions for which is which.
I didn't have a spark plug socket the correct size of these spark plugs. I did have a regular deep socket, which like the video, got the plug loose but ]wouldn't pull the plug from the hole. I don't have a magnetic tool to retrieve it and then had an epiphany. I could use the coil pack to retrieve the spark plug. I took the coil pack, pushed it back down the hole, got the end to go over the plug, and pulled it out. I also used it to put the plug back down the hole and even get it started threading in.
@@mattshu actually, I didn't even watch the video that far. I was more looking for how to get to the spark plugs themselves as I hadn't done it on this vehicle before. Would have saved me a few minutes trying to come up with something. Glad to see that great minds think alike!
Honda is absolutely confusing as far as recommended intervals for spark plugs AT fluid diff fluid. I seen it says every 30k for transmision. Then i saw 90k then every 30k.
Great video 😎👍🏻 I was just quoted $1,500 for this 😬😬 Think I’ll use your video and save a ton!! THANK YOU Sir!
Thanks for calmly and carefully explaining this process in a way a layperson can follow. Excellent!

Nice job, I have to say that engine is soo clean for that mileage!

Wow. Greatly explained and every bit of information covered. It gives great confidence.
Great video! Have you had any major mechanical issues for that mileage more so with the turbo or CVT?. Thanks
good instructions! I have new spark plugs in my CRV thanks to you.
You can use tape to hold the new plug in the socket when installing. Nice work!
When we should change the spark plug? 100k km? Thanks...
Love your humbleness and honesty!!!
Love your honesty man . Love how just real the video is thank you soooo much !!!!!
Nice for sharing this video , helpful to everyone. If i needed an extension how many inches do i need. Thanks
Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us. very nice and useful video.
I have the same car. At how many miles did the main light come on? I have 69,000 and no light yet.
My CRV, is at 100,000 and spark plug change just came on.
@@robertohamlin4838 There are videos to do that on YT. It looks like it costs hundreds because you must remove a lot of covers and hoses

Wonderful. Great job
Very helpful and thorough.
Great video! Where’s the coolant change video?
Good detail job. Thanks.
Nicely described.
Witch one is cylinder 4 ??? Right side corner 1 or left side corner ????
Will try for sure. Thanks mate
Good job! Make more videos on how to fix Honda CRVs.
You still have the car?
Thank you for the diy video!
Great video, Thanks.
Always double check your plugs
make sure they match
Honda uses metric system; 14mm spark plug socket should be used.
HOW MANY MILES ?
Great video but you may want to get a magnet to pull out the plugs.
Nice job!
Thank you.👍🏻
Wonderful...
Anymore CRV video
what is the gap?
YOU got those spark plugs from a dealer???????? Those are knock off NGK plugs!
You never set the Spark Plug ...
Good job. Wonder why the dealer charges 450.00 dollars? Thiefs
Oem plugs are 45 each. Believe that. The tip is made of some weird celestial metal 😂😒😒😔😔
@@asinegaasinega Check RockAuto for NGK and Denso for great prices. Owners manual has the model number of plugs to use.
@@asinegaasinegaNGKs on Rock Auto are $10.01 each.
Damn its complicated i might fck it up.😵💫
Supposed to buy the one with a rubber seal inside ! Wrong one!
I bought a magnetic one-works great on these deep set plugs...
@@tonyjordan1320 yeah, I have it for a long time , maybe 12 years ago! How much did you pay?
@@andyhuang7526 $10, ?
@@tonyjordan1320 if the rubber breaks or loose, I will buy the new one like yours !
This doesn't help for non turbo engines
I give a thumbs down because I can't hear/understand anything you are saying. Try getting a lapel microphone
Great video,
My CRV has 35,500 miles (57,000km) any idea why the maintenance minder would have spark plug replacement on there??
All about $, as far as I know there is no sensor that determines a spark plug is at end of life.
