Hey Mark, thanks for posting these videos, I had 7 years of gap between graduation and the exam, and these videos refreshed my memory and I passed the exam!
Thank you for this video. The pie chart and breakdown really helped to put the test into perspective instead of having to know almost everything very quickly. I am 6 years out of school and 10 days from the exam while working full time. I took a solid week off just to study but the anxiety is definitely building. Almost done with your playlist and then onto practice exams.
God bless you and your family Mark! I passed the FE, on the first try, thanks to your videos! You’re an amazing and passionate engineer/teacher. Thank you for everything that you’ve done!
Thanky you for these reviews! I used these almost solely plus the ncees practice exam and was able to pass. The world is better because of people like you. I truly appreciated it.
Ahhh I just wanted to say thank you!! I was consistently watching your videos along with doing some practice exams and I recently passed it!! Thank you so so much! Some days I even saw you more than my loved ones😂
Hi Mark!! I used your videos to assist in my studying for the FE Exam Civil and I passed!!! Thank you for sharing this content and best of wishes to you!
Hey Mark, thanks for posting these videos, I passed FE Civil on March 12, 2024. All thanks to your set of questions that guided me and filled me with confidence.
Hey Mark, just wanted to come back and say your videos helped me prepare for the FE and as of today, I passed! Thank you for all the effort you make to help students around the world. Difference maker!!
Thank you Mark for the wonderful set of videos!! It helped me pass the FE! Glad you are selfless to help all of your students far and wide, it is very much appreciated!
Hi Mark. I’ve just recently passed my FE civil and thanks for your advice and video. I made sure to stay on top of the topics I feel most confident about and flag questions that don’t know how to answer. I think I still have 1 hour on my 2nd half and it allowed me to come back and solve a few flagged questions. Great as always!
Hey Mark, I came across your videos earlier this year and I’m proud to say that I’ve recently passed the FE Exam! Thank you for your knowledge along with the PDFs to follow along! I really appreciate it!!!
Hey Mark! Just wanted to let you know you have another in your list of students who have successfully passed the Civil FE! Thank you for your review videos and thoughtful list of questions, I truly appreciate what you do. In one of the videos I remember you talking about your dad. I think it was a March 2022 video, because I remember thinking back to December 2021, which is when my dad passed away. There never is a day when I don't about him and everything he ever said to me about myself and my career interests has come true. The cemetery joke is one of the few rare good jokes about a cemetery. Hope you treasure it always! Anyways, thanks again Mark!
Hey Mark! thank you for all the wonderful videos on FE Civil. I watched through all of them as a last minute review and found out today that I PASSED the exam! Thank you very much!!!!

Please Mark I need your help with Structural Design in section tension member, Area net for bolts and welded in Handbook 10-0-1 (new version), the equation for Area net has been changed in the equation should I used bolt diameter + 1/16" or hole diameter + 1/16" ?
The new version is correct. There was an error. I emailed NCEES about it to let them know that the old formula did not match with the AISC Steel Construction Manual. NCEES updated their Handbook to be 1/16" + hole diameter.
Hi, I'm a Civil Engineering student from Brazil. I'll graduate july next year. In Brazil, Civil Engineering is a 5 year Bachelor with over 4300 Hours, after that I want to get a Masters degree to work in the USA. Do I need to do both exams? or PE only?
There are different requirements for each state in the USA. Please check the requirements for where you intend to practice. However, from all the states I have experience with, the FE and PE exams are both required.
