Honestly, it aged well. With the portal and the worst bugs/glitches patched day 1 its been great. I put down playing guitar and even some parties just to play battlefield 2042 with friends. Can it be improved? Oh yeah it can, but now its really showing itself. Watch, next year everyone will say "i actually liked bf2042 against the hate" and the game will be considered better than bf4. It happens all the time

@@flycosis That isn't much of a problem with the games, because there's always something DICE Will manage to break, but that isn't much of a problem as people believing that this will be a revolution in gaming or something... I felt like this. Then played the game and was disappointed. To the people saying bf4 had a terrible launch, I agree. However bf4 had more than 2-3 weapons per class, had good maps, had a campaign, had classes, had non cosmetic only attachments, more that just one rocket launcher, etc. problem with bf 2042 is that not only are there bugs but the game feels like a shell that’s missing all this content on top of being buggy. Like if they didn’t have to develop a campaign or guns, or voice chat, or a scoreboard, or dog tags, or a decent progression system. Then what were they doing? How did they remove so much content and still have such a buggy mess. Also the maps feel empty. There’s no lobby system so after playing for 13hrs I still have yet to play on the snow map, and excluding the portal there’s only 3 game modes if u even include hazard.

I really liked battlefield 1, just the shear infantry chaos and massive charges to try and break the enemy in a last ditch assault to win the final sector on an operations map.
BF1 lacked a lot of super fast vehicles and drones that people would just plant explosives on to BS kill vehicles. It was much better balanced. Nobody in a wingsuit equipped with C5 to Batman their way across the map to drop down on you and kill you in your tank after you just spawned it in. It’s cheap really.
Well we have seen the Alpha and it was awesome, and because dice actually improves their games during their lifespan as oppose to Activision, it's probably gonna be good, still, no one's gonna pre-order anything after cyberpunk lmao

I didn't have an issue with BF1 or BFV, but from what i saw it didn't feel the like BF3 or 4. so when i saw this trailer i just wanted to get back on BF4 and i did, looking forward to the new game.
I bought a BF4 copy from Gamestop when I was like 13, and had a trash laptop, so of course I couldn't play it Recently I got a hell of a PC and when I saw the Bf 2042 ads I was kinda nostalgic from my 10 FPS experience in BF4, now I've been playing it every day Hope DICE doesn't fuck up

@@luigidomenicopace1329 it’s not “just a beta” look at hardline, I played the beta, the beta was waaay more fun than the actual game itself, could be the same way with 2042 or could be the opposite, a beta will show you more likely what of an idea that game will look like and 2042 looks overhyped at this point. Bf4 will still be the move, might as well make another dlc for bf4 instead

Seeing 0:47 took me back to Christmas of 2015. I was 14 years old and my parents got me an Xbox one with 6 games. Battlefield 4 was one of them. One of the best Christmas days I had.

cyberpunk 2077 was the only game i was ever hyped for, they promised so much shit and it fell sooo flat. I mean i play on pc and all my graphics were to the max and still i couldnt find any npcs in the streets. shit felt so dead.

I felt like this. Then played the game and was disappointed. To the people saying bf4 had a terrible launch, I agree. However bf4 had more than 2-3 weapons per class, had good maps, had a campaign, had classes, had non cosmetic only attachments, more that just one rocket launcher, etc. problem with bf 2042 is that not only are there bugs but the game feels like a shell that’s missing all this content on top of being buggy. Like if they didn’t have to develop a campaign or guns, or voice chat, or a scoreboard, or dog tags, or a decent progression system. Then what were they doing? How did they remove so much content and still have such a buggy mess. Also the maps feel empty. There’s no lobby system so after playing for 13hrs I still have yet to play on the snow map, and excluding the portal there’s only 3 game modes if u even include hazard.

Somehow has aged even worse than last week now that content has been delayed until summer and the player counts are comically low.
I really liked battlefield 1, just the shear infantry chaos and massive charges to try and break the enemy in a last ditch assault to win the final sector on an operations map.

BF1 lacked a lot of super fast vehicles and drones that people would just plant explosives on to BS kill vehicles. It was much better balanced. Nobody in a wingsuit equipped with C5 to Batman their way across the map to drop down on you and kill you in your tank after you just spawned it in. It’s cheap really.

Bf4 launch was absolutely horrible. Everyone hated bf4 in the beginning for being a "bf3 copy" now everyone says its the best battlefield game.

I don't mind the specialists, it adds something new to the gameplay, but I agree with the fact that mackay was the most fun specialist compared to the other 3, but that's the point of battlefield; in bf4 if you want to have fun blowing shit up, you definitely won't be choosing medic, same as in bf 2042, if you want to play medic, pick falck
