I played this with someone who had played before and KNEW how it ended, and he played as Vincent. The betrayal felt all the more real 😭

@@hammerbro1947 Leo didn't even tell Vincent to _find_ Linda, which Vincent did anyway. He even explains to Linda that he killed Leo; so just because Vincent didn't ask Leo to face Carol doesn't mean it wasn't dishonorable.
You can really hear the emotion and Leo’s voice when he’s cussing Vincent out after taking the gun

Vincent even promised to reduced his sentence and that was his job as a cop. If he's an asshole, he would've just shot leo the moment he was about to take the gun at the airport. The only thing that doesn't make sense to me in vincent ending he just shot leo instead of threaten him to arrest him at the end. Its like forced. Leo was more believable but vincent's was like wtf.
Yeah it’s his job, he even wanted to reduce his sentence, he had a wife and kid so he couldn’t just break the law to help Leo and ruin the relationship he could fix with his family

Vincent really did like leo, and they did become freinds. Vincent felt bad about having to send leo back to jail. So he tried to reduce his sentence. But im 100% with leo.
When I watch the part where Leo appears very outraged by the betrayal, saying that he can't believe it, I can really understand the pain and emotions he shows in this scene, only anyone who has ever been stabbed in the back knows what it's really like.

Vicent sure did, he payed the price of betrayal. Not to mention, he wasn't joking when said in the prison "You f*ck this up, I'll kill you myself".
Yeah... I played Leo and my friend played Vincent and we finished it today but goddamn I'm so ruined now from its ending... I had a feeling like I shot my friend and once the screen faded I said "I'm so sorry" :(

i like leo too but i prefer vincent surviving. leo's pretty much an outlaw on the run now forever, but at least vincent redeems himself to his wife and gets to raise his baby daughter
@@milesupshur4179I know 10 months ago but Leo really never did anything and his son Alex is already almost grown up so killing him is horrible but killing Vincent his daughter never saw him which she can get a step-dad so I think leo is the best ending

Right as Vincent takes his last breath an ad tells me that Christmas trees try to hard and that the best ones are made with peanut butter and chacolate by recess. I'm crying and then I get dumbass ads like that

@@sam_marley Well, think of this. Imagine being in the army, would you rather be dishonorably discharged or die in the battlefield? Doing the former would really damage the relationship of others. It's a similar thing to being betrayed, as people would see you as an irresponsible person who couldn't do anything right after getting their trust in the first place. Sometimes betrayal hurts more than death, because those that are the victims of it will remember that. Death sets them free. TLDR I know, but it had to come out.

Someone help me understand one thing, though. Why did Vincent still have to try arresting Leo? He may have been involved in the deal that went south, but he had nothing to do with Gary's death.
I wish I had an answer. No matter how hard I think, I cannot understand why Vincent would kill Leo. He knew Harvey killed Gary, he knew Leo was framed. Just why, Vincent? pain

i played with a friend who already knew what the game was about. I didn't know anything. so my reactions were 100% and his were obviously not real just made up. he knew exactly where everything was without taking 5 mins to figure it out. for me it would have taken me more than 5 mins to figure something out. for example when you have to put like a pipe on the turbine or fang to walk by. I had no clue what to do. but my friend got it in like 5 seconds
I wanted a reason to get a second xbox one controller and well I am going to play this with my brother just for the significance of the story

I can handle the shooter, I can handle the puzzles and QTE's and even a basic 2d fighter. But my ability to press a button is consistent while my player 1 has bursts of speed.

I would only ever play this game high with my bro, he had completed it with his gf but not me. He wanted to have a gamer as good as me fight him at the end. We treated eachother as a boss fight... The toughest boss fight ive ever come across was my own brother... I lost the gun battle and we both had to tap for the gun... I won as I tapped so fast I almost became sober from my weed. I won as Vincent... This game has changed me.

He got Leo to trust him and used that to locate Harvey AND the diamond, basically killing two birds with one stone. From his point of view he was doing his job, sure, but Leo trusted him, opened up to him, had Vincent even playing with his son. Then the bomb drops that he was only being used. From his point of view, it was a fd up betrayal.
And I know how vincent and leo could have lived by beating up each other a little bit and by not taking off there bulletproof armor that way they could both still be able to still be alive and be with families and not die and join gary unnamed police officer hired convict hired hitman harvey and his men in heaven or as some may call it the afterlife

That is a great and excellent idea Nathaniel Mann the people who made a way out should have made a ending where leo gets let go from prison and the police force and vincent apologies for what he did to him and retires from the police department and it ends with leo linda and alex leaving the country and vincent apologies to his wife carol for what had happened between them and stays with his wife carol and his newborn baby daughter julie and live happily ever after the end of a way out
