Cod and Chips: £10.20 Thanks for visiting The Chippy Tour, which is brand new for January 2024. I'd appreciate it if you liked the video, shared it, shared the channel, and subscribed to it.
@@thechippytour Bald Foodie said the lady in the shop told him a fellow RUclipsr from The chippy tour had paid them a visit. She must have sussed you were doing a review.
@@andrewrice6596 Ah right. Yes, once I’d purchased the food, we set up in the carpark at the back. During my recording, a staff member happened to come out of the back and asked my wife what we were doing. She explained while I continued to record. It’s a bit of a routine we have so that I don't get preferential treatment if I'm filming anywhere near a chippy 🤙
We called in here on our way back to Lancashire after visiting Piel Island , we were personally amazed at the quality of food and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them 👍 This whole stretch of coastal road is full of surprises with an amazing ice cream parlour called 'The Chill and Grill' just down the road with amazing sea vistas , also recommended 😁 Brilliant unbiased review my friend.
Looked fantastic, I've heard of a Yorkshire fish cake and that looked amazing and it definitely on my to try list. Was that curry fruity or spicy Stephen?
@thechippytour you said the S word, sweet 😂🤮 so Irish curry. Gravy from there then, I've noticed you don't cover gravy in your reviews and I get it, chippy gravy is out of a tub but so are curry sauces and I've seen peas flopped into the warmers from tubs. I know the sides are sides and it's all about the main event.
@@mattwuk I know what you mean, I don't often get gravy or peas, and especially not beans, but when I know they prepare their own sides, I'm on them like a tick on a bloodhound. I had some tasty ham hock mushy peas in the south, and some incredible beefy gravy. But I much prefer to grab a varied selection of main food item which are prepared in-house, like that Yorkshire fishcake and cheese savoury, as well as always finding out what the fish and chips are like.

The Bald foodie Guy visited there yesterday and recommend it. You also got a mention too, take a look.
I noticed. Hopefully with all the reviews it will do even better. Didn't see my mention though 😀

@thechippytour When he came out with the fish and chips and got back in the car, he said the lady told him you were there a few days before.

@thechippytour f**k beans when we're talking about chippies brother 😄 beans on toast is a meal fit for a king in its own setting.
