Since launch, I didnt have any issues. I was lucky I guess. But, I always defend Cyberpunk 2077. Always. Even in a Domino's pizza, when a random father told me that tha game was bad cuz he saw my CP2077 t shirt. And I said: Give it a try. I really good. Now, Im so glad that ppl can finally see, play and enjoy the game, at is best way possible. Big congrats to CDPR :D
Same, I played on PC since day 1. I started with an old processor and a 1070ti and I could run the game on 1080 medium with no issues and experienced minimal bugs. The old gen systems were holding the game back and they experienced the issues, but media acted like that was everyone. After patch 1.5 when they abandoned the old gen consoles for being too underpowered the game took off.
When the video on patch 2.2 was made i made a comment on if Cyberpunk 2077 was worth playing on PS4 since I wasn't sure when I'd ever upgrade to PS5. That was back in December. With tax return season fast approaching I decided to finally upgrade and will be getting a PS5. I bought the Ultimate Edition since it was on sale a few weeks ago and despite being on PS4 I've been absolutely hooked on the story and gameplay and can't wait for when I get my tax return. It'll be the first game I install on my PS5.
2.21 patch is most recent. I started playing middle of 2024 and love it. Actually, keep starting over before finishing because it is so much fun. The camera maybe cool for some but I shut it off because it kept coming on right in the middle of the wrong places. Game is awesome.
I got it gifted at my birthday (23 of January) turning 18 years old, i couldn't be happier. 80 hours in...I'm extremely happy with it. I love this game. It opened a vast new Imagination for me in terms of lore and myself... looking at V and Johnny...i sense in them resemblance. I relate. To some stuff. And it makes me love it even more. The game is a masterpiece, made by the same guys who made The witcher? No wonder it's that Good. CD project red HAS NEVER DISAPPOINTED ME AND NEVER WILL... I'm not falling over THAT edge, punk. I started playing CP2077 a few weeks back and your videos have been super helpful as I explore and get the most out of this game. I’m so glad the community is still growing around this game, I jumped in at the right time!
The design is really good. However, last time when I tried to create a third walkthrough, I started asking myself: What the hell am I doing here at 35 years old, in this empty city, shooting random banits?
So glad I waited to dive into the game from the launch troubles to the 2.0 updates, stability improvements and then the expansion, this is how the game should really be enjoyed. As a pcvr nerd, i hadn't even heard of this games redemption until recently, boy was I missing out, and playing it for the first time with a ps5 controller in 3d on a vr headset brings to life what is quickly becoming my favorite game world setting, despite (or partially because of) all the dark sides of night city. Truly amazing game. Wish they hadn't fumbled the launch because a lot of us tuned out and may have missed a masterpiece.
it's one of the greatest video games ever made. i sitill consider the mass effect triology as the goat but cyberpunk was just perfect. elements of the game were truly revolutionary too. cd projekt are now at rockstar level. plenty of other devs i love but rockstar and cdprojekt are the absolute top dog gold standard.
We have never seen a game start off so bad during their launch day and then completely change around with patches and upgrades. Especially the added phantom Liberty, you have to get props to those but never gave up on cyberpunk 2077 you know and Keanu Reeves who is an awesome actor but also he's considered like a really down to earth really good guy that everybody likes which makes the game pretty badass.
Started playing it a week ago im at the Panam badlands mission around 50 hours in , been doing a lot of exploration and side gigs , i fking love this game
Hard disagree. I would argue that they aren't fans. A real fan would know that a lot of those "promised" features were from the "build in progress, everything is subject to change" video weren't actually promised and others were cut for very good reasons. These "fans" were expecting the ability to follow random NPCs in a city of millions around a programed daily routine, which if you really think about it sounds absurd if you know even the tiniest amount about programing.
@@damienjohnson3450it's absurd, yes, but CDPR was still undoubtedly in the wrong for the way this game was advertised vs how it was at launch. The average player does NOT know anything about programming. I was cautiously optimistic and waited for reviews to come in, which I'm glad about. It's great that the game is finally in a good state, but it still should have been released that way
I started playing Oct 2024, and I already have 263 hours invested, and I'm on my 3rd playthrough, trying to do all the endings, and then to 100% the game, this is definitely going to be and likely remain my most played game of 2025 and I now have an invested reason to upgrade my hardware to take full advantage of this beautiful game, cannot wait for Project Orion and what CDPR brings us in the future game.
I find the character editor to be rather pointless since the entire game is in 1st person view. The only time I can actually see my character is riding a motorcycle or looking in a mirror.
I can understand the point, but i personaly enjoy it. Its a RPG and its my V. My visuals represent the charcter i had in mind, which mirrors in Clothes and Equip. One of the bigest strengths of Cp2077 for me is the immersion (big + for no third person) and in the end its me who walks in NC. Everytime i look in the miror i see "my" face.
I disagree. I find the first person only design choice to be incredibly immersive. Kinda like real life how you can only see yourself in the mirror but you still care how you look.
I been playing this game since launch. I never gave up on this game. It's great, people recognize this game for what it is, even if nobody collectively recall what it did good before. I still play on last gen even though I got it on pc too.
One thing I realized playing this game since day one. Regardless of all the bugs people experienced, I thoroughly enjoyed it for one reason or another. Such an awesome game. Glad I got it then and really glad I still have it now. May put it down for a month or two but always playing it over and over again. Glad it is still being played by new players til now and hopefully for many more years to come.
Bought it on Steam when there was sales on December 2024. It has been 200++ hours since then and i will say it is absolutely worth it. There's still some minor glitches in some occasions, but not game breaking one. It is some of the best games I've been playing recently.
One of the best games I’ve played. Night City feels like a functioning city. Excellent dialogue with great animations. Decent amount of builds with varying playstyles. The most glaring problem is no NG+. By the time you create a complete build and get good with its playstyle, much of the City is cleared of quests & missions to flex on. I love starting new builds, but I also would love to take on the entire game again completely kitted out.
Same like alot of comments, Started my first playthrough of Cyberpunk ever 2 weeks ago. I'm playing it daily for as much as I can, incredible game, soundtrack and storyline. I just can't get enough of it. Finished the main story line once and I'm starting DLC right now. For me it's in 10 top of all time, no game ever got me hooked instantly like Cyberpunk in 2025. I just can't get enough of it.
Started playing CP'77 two days ago. On 3rd platform. I've spent 1200 hours on Stadia from release day till day it was shut down. Then on nVidia Play Now to play Phantom Liberty and now on PS5. Still feel great just driving around and doing NCPD calls and other random stuff.
I got the game at launch and being on PC it wasn't too bad for me.. yeah, there were bugs.. but nothing too crazy for me. I really enjoyed it, and I came away from it thinking it was a 'good game.' Over the years, the updates and improvements have upgraded it from 'good game' to one of my favorite games of all time. Phantom Liberty was insanely good and the game feels so polished now.. it's a real joy to play.
I don't know why we as the gaming community still pay games at full price from develop studies that release unfinished games. I always wait a year until the bugs are fixed and they reduce the price. I hope more people start doing this. Hitting them in the wallet is the only way they are going to learn to not release half-ass "AAA" games.
Had a side quest of a guy who had a bad “implant” and needed a ride to the closest ripper doc. I took him and much later he called and sent some eddys. Preen content.

It sure is. This is 1 of the best games ever made period. Love the graphics and gameplay. Story and DLC, soundtrack etc this game CANNOT go wrong absolutely amazing. Can’t wait for Orion. Thank u V, that was for Alex ❤
I got the game on day 1 for my PS4 Pro but decided with all the negative press about the quality of gameplay on consoles that I would not install it until improvements were made to it. Well you have to give credit to CDPR they eventually got the game to a good standard but by that time the PS5 had been released. Thankfully I was able to purchase a console and installed the game on it. It only took about 5 years but I feel that it was the correct decision to wait. I must say that I have really enjoyed getting into the character of V exploring the world of NC and its surroundings and later tackling the great DLC of Phantom Liberty. Overall, I would say that it’s a must play game, even in 2025. (I have deliberately avoided going into detail about all the issues with the game on release as they have been well documented by now, but I must add that CDPR have restored a good amount of goodwill that they deservedly lost at launch).
I got this at launch on a hard copy, obviously traded it in, started it again 2 weeks ago, absolutely hooked and on doing my 3rd different ending, absolutely amazing game, the launch was an absolute disgrace though and I won’t forget that next time they release a game

My predictions: Witcher 4 release: 2026 Orion release: 2028 Best not forget CDPR opened a studio in the US specifically for making CP games going forward, and I'd imagine the main team will help out for the last bit of development. But also, CDPR is using UE5 now so just from that development will be quicker. Lastly if Orion takes place in Night City as well, they dont have create an entirely new city, but rather iterate on what already exists really speeding up dev time and letting them focus on more improtant aspects.
It's been installed on my Xbox since launch. Still play it here and there. We can only hope that Bethesda and BioWare(What's left of them) have as amazing a redemption arc. They need it.
Is it worth it still? Absolutely… with gamings current offerings I’m struggling to get out of night city. Nothing recent is even close to this perfection.
I loved it and had hardly any issues even when it launched. Had a few minor bugs, thats it. PC Master Race. That being said, they have gone above and beyond with all the updates. Its incredible and uncanny!
Cyberpunk 2077 is so good that in my 250h of gameplay I never even once wanted to use fast travel. The DLC is quite bad when it comes to writing, but still enjoyable.

0:30 "It's been nearly half a decade since it's [Cyberpunk 2077] been released" NO! NO! IT CANNOT HAVE BEEN FIVE YEARS AGO *ALREADY* STOP IT, PASSAGE OF TIME! STOP! IT!
Sinnerman is one of the most hated missions in this game. Youre exposed as an npc. I just sold this game to gamestop. Its basically a farcry cyberpunk edition
Only complaint is no new game plus and no third person mode. Other than I adore this game and genuinely find it more fun to play moment to moment than the Witcher 3 and even GTA V
Idris Elba played Stringer Bell in The Wire. After that good performance of a really corrupt lawyer i dislike him forever. Also this game ran fine on my PC when it launched. But it's a way better game now in 2025 with the latest update/patch. And the Phantom Liberty but no spoilers from me.
Been playing since 1.6 and have been more than happy with the game. I can see why people are turned off by the state of the game on release, hell, I’ve still never played No Man’s Sky so I get it. But cyberpunk’s themes, performances, combat and movement mechanics are top tier full stop, buy this game.

9:54 oh oh some one should tell him that CD PR took the ESG pill in October 2021
For me cyberpunk was such a good game that I didn’t even care how buggy it was at release. I still played hundreds of hours of
This game was always good but in 2025 it’s never been better fully updated one of the best DLC expansions ever yes it’s worth it
Just me or is everyone playing Cyberpunk 2077 again?
Haha, not just you. It's what I'm sinking hours into as well.
Currently 70 hrs into playthrough number 12389470192384701238947012957039487 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
It's just you
Short answer: Absolutely.

I recently did the Sinnerman gig and I failed the car chase when I hit a civilian. That is new I think.
"nearly half a decade since its release"
4 years and 2 months is nearly 5 years? mmkay
I was one of the ones that refunded it in the beginning. I bought it again when 1.6 came out and im glad i did. One of my favourite games of all time
I've loved the characters and world since I played it after work on launch day.
I just found out you can save Takamura, I wanted to do this to get the steam achievement so I loaded my first play though so I didn't need to play the game over again. Wow I really didn't know what I was doing back then. I could have told you that years ago also.
I absolutely love this game, my only downsides is the lack of NG+, and the fact that the NPCs get much cooler clothing than you.
Just if cdpr release a patch to have 3rd person viewing for all cutscenes. That would be a perfect game for me
It sure is. This is 1 of the best games ever made period. Love the graphics and gameplay. Story and DLC, soundtrack etc this game CANNOT go wrong absolutely amazing. Can’t wait for Orion. Thank u V, that was for Alex ❤
It’s a 6.5 maybe a 7 at best, but I’d say it’s worth a play.
I remember it crashing on me every hour in 2020 having to save so as not to lose any of my progress and even then I still loved it
Is the greatest singleplayer rpg of all time worth playing? Hmmmmm lets see
Game is amazing not to the max. The DLC is so awesome. Replayed it few months ago like Valhalla/Fallout4/Ghost of sushi/ All these games are so good.
I got this at launch on a hard copy, obviously traded it in, started it again 2 weeks ago, absolutely hooked and on doing my 3rd different ending, absolutely amazing game, the launch was an absolute disgrace though and I won’t forget that next time they release a game

My predictions:
Witcher 4 release: 2026
Orion release: 2028
Best not forget CDPR opened a studio in the US specifically for making CP games going forward, and I'd imagine the main team will help out for the last bit of development.
Just started playing last week and I’ve been hooked trying to max out a net runner deck cus I’ve been popping off with the hacks
So glad i waited 5 years. Im about to get the best experience that beta testers couldn't.
TLDR: Yes it’s one of the best games ever made
Thanks for the video
I hope this game is fruitful. Iv always wanted to play with this art style
It's very good.
Loved the game when it launched, but it's an even better game today with the expansion and 2.2x. Passed 700 hours recently.

Please make a video "Cyberpunk 2077 in 2077 - is it worth it"?
What is the best build??? Most fun?
6:11 I enjoyed this quest but I wish you could get to uncover who was behind it
0:30 "It's been nearly half a decade since it's [Cyberpunk 2077] been released"
NO! NO! IT CANNOT HAVE BEEN FIVE YEARS AGO *ALREADY*
STOP IT, PASSAGE OF TIME! STOP! IT!
When this game came i had never have any problems 🎉 now i play it again 💎
Just bought yesterday so this video dropped at a perfect time
Short answer, yes. Longer answer, HELL YES!

Of course it's worth it. It's the only AAA game in this generation. This is the first iteration. Just imagine part 2.

Of course, it always was if you could actually play it, always a killer app, played it on premiere, for some reason got literally one noticeable bug, and of funny variety. Understand the hate but technical nightmare aside it's a great gaming achievement.
Is It Worth It?----------Yes
I have replayed the game multiple times and it somehow doesn't resonate with me the story, world, and characters except Johnny feel boring to me. I just feel lost and don't no what to do so I just get off of it. Do you guys think I'm missing something and should try playing it again.

I can't quit playing this game, I love it so much. After update 2.0 it was great, and the rest are just icing on the cake.
ditto
This game has consumed me the last two weeks.
10:33 I understand why you start waking few minutes later 10:54.
This game is as good as Fallout New Vegas.
Agree I put it up there with all the so best RPGs of all time.
considering i'm doing another playthrough RIGHT NOW i'm going to say YES? and move on xD
Dumb question, Big Dan xD
Isn’t your whole channel dedicated to this game?
Half a decade?? I thought that was like 2 yrs ago max
