How to do CDJ-style looping on an APC40MKII

- I realize you can do pretty much all of this with MIDI map mode (no need for a custom script) but this is still useful if you want to loop quantize to a bar while having your global quantize setting as something different. (Also if you want to use the loop double/halve feature)

in what file can I edit the functionality of the shift button? I want to swap the nudge+ nudge- functions (hold shift to move the loop, and change length without holding shift)

Unfortunately It doesn't works for new version of Ableton live. I don't know why!
can you make glitchy stuff with that technique or is it limited by ableton.

Cool work, Azuki, been wanting such a "Loop-in-Clip" functionality in Ableton since years. Do you have any suggestions, how to map this on an APC40 (Mk.1) or a Novation Launchpad (Mk.1)?
Also it would be cool to apply this on all tracks (in my case: Stems) of a an Ableton scene.

i'm so far behind i just recently got one of these. dope ; is this available to do with stock ableton? I was scraping for hours just simply trying to find a way to live loop the current timestamp and then use the bars at the bottom of the grid 1-8 labeled with time measures. it seemingly didn't work like that so i'm guessing this is the only way?
The only problem is that you cannot see two tracks at the same time. Anyone have an idea how to do this?
