Really nice video Taren, thanks! I think it's important to not get discourage by how well off Ben Hoffman has it, no pro starts out like this. They start exactly where every other age-grouper currently is. With one or two bikes on a trainer fighting for space in an apartment, having to travel great distances to get quality swims on crowded lanes and doing their brick-seasons outside in cold weather because treadmill at home is out of the question. Juggling every-day jobs on full or part time to pay for everything. This video shows how the top % of the top % has it. Hoffman has certainly earned this, he worked long and hard for it. But it's far from essential if you aspire to reach similar levels.
This is amazing. If I win the lottery, I now know what to do. Questions: More details about your sauna protocol. How long each time, how many days, etc. Are you sitting in there or biking? Why is this bike stand better than a Park brand? More info about your saddles.
infrared sauna should not be called a sauna. Just talking about infrared sauna in Finland will get you in jail :P (but yeah, good video as always Taren!)
Great setups and insights to more pro level Triathletes and how they train 'at home' - but a quick look online I'm getting pricing of circa £25,000 for the H2X Challenge 15D.....!!!!! Not sure who this sponsored video is aimed at... I can't see many non-pros being able to afford something of this size and cost. I'll be off down the local communal pool to share the lanes with the 11:00 aquarobics squad #howtheotherhalflive
He's their billboard. Thats probably 20 grand worth of bikes alone and i might be light at 20. I wonder what the rules are about selling gear after the season.
Tucson AZ. You don't have enough heat there that you need to get in a sauna? " Infrared ?" Men, i was in Oro Valley in July few years ago 46 + Celsius.Men that is hot.Ciao From Italy
@@wowitsjames With steel it's fine but with aluminum and carbon it can potentially damage it with the pressure and thin walls. It all depends but most people just don't want to risk it.
@@phxrsx ahh makes sense, thanks for that. But could the front load bearing pressure (weight from tightening or loosening with downward pressure around front wheel) pull forward and possibly damage the tube easier?
@@phxrsx I get the principal behind it, I'm not saying it's wrong. But pressure from ass is a more spread pressure (less lbs/inch) and pressure from a stand grip is a pinch grip @ top and bottom of grip (more lbs/inch) giving more chance of damage. Not a scientific explanation but I hope you get my perspective of understanding. Thanks again
Bummer that upon searching for info on how to purchase a swim spa-the model recommended in this video, btw-master spas sends you in never ending circles while claiming to make the process of purchasing a spa painless. Sucky. Wasted 15 minutes of my life with zero to show for it. No pricing, no dealer contact info, nothing. You would think if they wanted to actually sell spas, they would make the process out of the gate seamless. It is definitely not. Taren, did you get yours the normal way? You might consider looking at the customer journey end of things before you push a sponsors product. It didn’t reflect poorly on you in my case-I love your channel-but it could still do that if you push a great product that is unfortunately sold by a company with crappy customer service or experience.
Shelfology We just read your post and are sorry you had a frustrating experience trying to get information about our swim spas. What is your zip code, cell phone or email address. We can get you any information you would like or you can email me directly at maric@masterspas.com Mari
Ive never been jealous of a home tour before, but this, THIS! I'll start saving my pennies.

Here is the bling around my neck....I found this on CraigsList as well. LOL
Most excellent commercial. Thank you.
Hello, here are my 20 bikes :D
Wow, what a setup. I can see why he is one of the best, thanks Taren.

"This one tops out at 150 degrees", that's cute
Pretty impressive, thanks for the walk around. Always good to see how Pro‘s click 😎

OMG... that’s a pain cave to the MAX
Geez, so many bikes!
the oakley showcase, OMG!!!
met him two weeks ago on a flight out of AZ, awesome guy. One of the toughest competitors out there
Love these videos! Really enjoy seeing what the pros do!
He probably wouldn't even notice if I stole one of his P5X.... x)
Benn! We do have the same "S" bicycle pump! We're so brothers from another mother!
are we gonna talk about how dam hot his sauna was
the sam long roast at the beginning 💀
Down to earth kind of guy. Taren also..!
Could you just ask Hoffman if he wants to do a giveaway with one of his bikes?😜😅
Ben is a beast!
I wonder where ppl get there money and training in at the same time... Thats alot of bikes and equipent wow!
At least he’s humble.....
NO TAREN!!!!! THANK YOU!!!! Awesome episode!!!
Looking at his neck and underarms I would appreciate learning about his pharmaceutical regime. :) Great man's cave though.
wait... what? ... I don't get it.. :/
Damn..$2500? They need to increase those winnings.
ikr?! he'd need to win a lot of races to buy one of those pool treadmill things.. i looked it up it's 40k-60k
@@isaacyoung1868 it was probably given to him

good we can see the washing machines at the back...Big component of the training too!
He needs 1 more bike, n+1
super cool ben
Does Hoff have a mechanic on speed dial to maintain all those bikes ?
Awesome collection
Bike maintenance isn’t that hard when only one or two people are keeping their bikes on rotation. It’s pretty hard to mess up
What TEMP do you have on your swim spa set at for your workouts?
My top tube is going time for the angle grinder
a sponsor clip :-)
I'm assuming all of this equipment is donated by sponsors...
Not sure about mountain bikes.

@@parentsbasement7734 more like 50k lol
Great video. Love all the bikes - who wouldnt want that set up. Anyway ive a session now on my one and only bike a P2.😁
what's the saddle of the P5 disc?
Gear Ho's should never watch a video like this. You should probably slap some kind of warning banner on the thumbnail.
what is the nam and how much that "pool" cost?

You should do a special on the best cycling app on the planet, our app RideAlert.app.
Does everyone not see that this is a commercial?
don't agree. Given everything other than the spa, it was second hand stuff. Would be new if it was an advert.
What are the Oakleys at 3:55???
James Byrne evzero stride Prizm trail lens
Minimal Taren speaking equals pretty solid video
No I know where I'm going wrong, not enough bikes!!
It is freaking Arizona, there is virtually no need to train inside.
Could you send me a pair of Oakley s?
4:40 yea thats not a fire risk or anything lol
What I was thinking "You're gonna burn your house down dude"
Who needs 4 time trial/tri bikes?
Different bikes for different conditions. Thats a REALLY exspensive wall of bikes
But can you hit 180
Can I have your trashiest bike you have please? :)
jelly....tri goal.
So totally jealous
Just product advertising
Ahhh don’t clamp your bike by the top tube.
Why not?
