Fun fact for myself. the combos were so confusing for me in the arcade machine for street fighter 2, I started learning how to anticipate super moves from other people instead and effectively bypass then with ryo or ken in street fighter 2.. we had a set of 27 people in an arcade in the local mall back in 89 to 93. I got past 15 of them consistently and one day got to the top player who could play while staring entirely at the person he was against. and win

Guiles hair was not based off a planes sonic boom lol. Guile is based off Iceman from Top Gun. Thats why he's at an air force base and has a mohawk. Its also why they have the Cheap Trick song that plays at the end credits of Top Gun. Which is the same tune at the start of Kens stage. It was originally Guiles song but they changed it fearing copyright. Just like with the Balrog MBison swap.
