I had to stop the video during the Iron Module fight to check whether it wasn't raining heavily outside. Something in the sound design of that fight sounds exactly like a storm, heh. As perhaps to be expected from a Raiden spin-off, the boss design and attention to detail is superb.
@@SolCresta3405 Some time ago, yes. I derived the mythical theme naming at first from a boss name from EX that really stuck out to me, Bronze Harpy. From there came the Mineral-Greek/Celtic Mythical Creature theme naming.
I'd been wondering why last boss is strapped to what I think is ICBM and it occurred to me that, maybe, Red Vyverns are sent with strategic missiles to protect them while in transit

Balor is now the ultimate true final boss of Xeno Fighters R. And I thought the final boss’s name was Copper Caoineag.
I came up with the Balor and Caoineag names FOR Xeno Fighters R.
@@SkyknightMu It was you?

@@SkyknightMu Ah.
@@SkyknightMu If those names are fanmade, then what are the official names?
These are some cool ass bosses. Looks like a lot of sprite work went in to messing them up as they take damage.

My favourite shoot 'em up bosses are the ones who get progressively more beat up as you shoot them

I really hope this game gets re-released in Hamster's "Arcade Archives" at some point.
Master cool game🎮👍👍👍
Shadowserg does another Seibu Kaihatsu shmup bosses video!
Also, the Stage 8 boss is actually named Copper Caonaeg.
Copper Caoineag is just the fan name in Xeno Fighters R. They change some boss names around for that game.
@@Meta7 Whoopsies... My bad for confusing boss names...
"Spinoff of Raiden set in space" Because I guess all the space levels in the main series don't count.
Great job
Thnks
Niiiice! Thanks to let me know it!!!
Finally, *BRES Colony*
I can see why you had to pick up the rockets on those last bosses, that is way too much bullet spam at those speeds.
Clone Raiden Saga
If viper phase 1 is good why isn't there a viper phase 2?
Viper Phase 2 is the second loop, apparently.
i have this game 😊
No damage lol.
