When silly Sally, the Parson Russell terrier went back to the farm our house was so empty until Benny, a cavoodle appeared, bringing joy and laughter once more into our home!

I have been eagerly waiting to hear about Benny. I have not yet listened to all the poems you have uploaded since you first started your channel. I intend to do so.
I had a lovely chuckle at all little B achieved in such a short space of time - determined to teach you that “lying in” comes with a significant cost, whilst there’s a little live-wire requiring your full, undivided attention just as soon as his eyes pop wide open and his battery is fully charged.
Your love and devotion to him comes through so strongly, but we also appreciate how much work and patience raising a puplet requires ❤
Perhaps you should do as new Mothers are told - sleep when the baby/puppy sleeps - but how many follow that advice? 😁
Both are delightful poems and I’m so happy you have this bundle of love in your life. I felt so sad for you when Sally had to leave due to her neighbourhood misdemeanours.

@@desh7120 I have loved dogs all my life as I’m sure you can tell! I think I’d forgotten how much energy goes into caring for a pup but it’s been worthwhile! We’re looking forward to seeing him again as he’s been with our daughter and her two dogs whilst we’re on holiday! He may not want to leave his big/small uncles/brothers?!! And perhaps he’ll have learnt more lessons! Like not jumping on furniture😂😂 Thankyou again for your comments!🙏🏻❤️
