If it weren’t for your easy-to-follow, step by step video, I would not have been able to change my battery out myself, thank you so much. God bless & safe travels.
Thank you! Doing this video has made me realize a lot of people need a lot of things that are small but somewhat complicated! A ton more of BETTER vids to follow!
Dealing with a dead 2024 super cub right now. Battery. Thanks for video. Also my roommate noticed a wire under the seat, an adapter you can plug a battery trickle charger into? Is that what that's for?
I have a 2019 SC. The battery removal/install NEVER seemed this easy. For the past few years, I haven't reinstalled the black plastic brace. It always seems like it's so much harder than it should be.
What was difficult about it? Many people don’t like the multiple steps and some people just have a hard time fitting the tools where they need to be. Hopefully, it’ll get easier for you. Thanks for the comment! 🙏
As a newcomer to your channel with a 5 year old supercub i did find its layout is different and very awkward to remove. Ive got a flat battery and needed to take it off to recharge. My tip im finding i may not put that battery cover bottom bolt back in as the whole thing is so tight with the starter power cable and very little movement. Marc In Bletchley G6XEG
@@marchampson006 I have dropped that bottom one into the engine where the sprocket was!! Wasn’t too bad to get it out but had me scared. Thanks for the sub and the comment! Thanks 🙏🏻
...so if i were unlucky enough to have also dropped the hex nut into the wire abyss but did not have it fall out anywhere, what are the chances i can just leave it and pretend it didn't exist? Or will i have to take off all the plastic panels to try to find it? I wobbled the bike but nothing shook loose 😢
@@nodoff they hold the wires in place on the front and the back, but I don’t think it would be a detriment if you removed it. Honestly, it should last years if you turn the deactivate key fob for long stretches (10+ days) you won’t be on the bike. Cheers! Thanks for the comment!
I own a 2021, and I just put in a new battery today (2024) If you’re like me and don’t use a trickle charger, *definitely* deactivate the key fob. Over time it will take years off the life of your battery, as I’ve recently discovered.
what a mess my old honda city sh50 one screwdriver cover then you can push off and on battery terninal one unit only goes one way anyway starts with dead battery on kick start and no funny keyless keys old tech is still the best
I appreciate you man, keep up with the videos !!!

Good tips there. It can be a shocking experience! LOL! Nice job. 👍
You got that right!
Helpful info!
This is timely for me as mine would not start. Hope I change it as smoothly as you make it look.
Let’s us know how it went!
Thank you. Now I feel confident that I can do this myself. Great video.
You are so welcome! I love comments like this!

Good to know how to do it - my 2020 SC125 - with 29 actual miles (!) - should be on the road this week if the weather tops 60°!
Be safe out there and stay warm!! It’s hot in central Florida already!
You are supposed to ride in cold enough whether to freeze your tits off
Excellent content thank you!
As long as I’ve helped ONE person it is all worth it!

I would just replace it with an identical and keep rolling.
@@Yoshi-Mooch thank you! I still haven't seen the original hex nut so it either flung itself to obscurity or wedged itself somewhere harmless 🤞🤞🤞
Can I remove the battery cover forever?
I mean not put it back.
