It does not. They just teach them about islam and the leader. When they came they destroyed and burned history books because those history books showed proof of the violence that islam is (historically).
All Islamic countries today who had a rich pre-islamic history don't teach it in schools like Pakistan which has a deep history from the starting of arrival of Aryans to Indus valley civilization, birth of Hinduism in Pakistan 6000 years ago and 5000 year rule of Hinduism. Islam arrived in Pakistan only 1300 years ago and Pakistan has a history of 6000 years but they don't teach pre Islamic history. Imagine having a history of 6000 years but teaching only 1300 years of history just because of their hatred towards Hinduism.
Many inaccuracies in this video. The Islamic revolution happened thanks to the US and UK and the root cause of the dissent is found in their greediness for oil, which the Shah had restricted to nations outside of Iran for obvious reasons. The US funded the return of exiled Mullahs and create instability through a revolution to instal these fanatics and get rid of the Shah. When you destabilise a country (e.g. Iraq, Libya, and many African and Asian countries) you can take advantage of the broken society and their resources. War has and will continue to the the most lucrative business so follow the money and the pursuit of power and you'll always find the true cause of any conflict, siege or unrest...

It always annoys me when I point out how barbaric these places are, and people say that's not because of the religion, it's because their societies aren't as developed. It's like they are completely oblivious to the fact that the reason their nations aren't as developed is BECAUSE of Islam, lol.

Fun fact: the same happened in Afghanistan but there the Talibans were backed by the Reagan administration to fight the Soviets. People don't care about oppression except if the oppressor isn't a friend, and at first, the Talibans were seen as "a lesser evil". The same happens in Central and South America and Africa without media focusing on it, and we could add that our "great friends" the Saudis don't even allow women to drive a car without the express green light (yeah I know for the pun) of their husband. In Iran, people are oppressed, it's a fact, but we support oppressing regimes throughout the world, some worse than Iran regarding Human Rights, yet we never question our support to those dictatorships.
What i miss the most is that iran no longer has beauty pageants. Its distressing that women are no longer being paraded around to suit the gaze of western men. Tragic
Iran was a modern and civilized country. Then Islamic savages took power and destroyed everything. France made a huge mistake by providing exile to Ayatollah Khomeini. The entire world pays the price of that generosity.
Every single video I've EVER seen on the topic, all the reels I see are image after image of Almost naked women, at beaches, pools....as if that is the only thing that is considered WESTERN and MODERNITY. Very telling.
Yeah the reality was that Iran under the shah was liberating only for a select urban elite and came at the expense of rural people and workers who had none of the access to education they do now. I too wish to see the Islamic Republic dismantled, but Im very skeptical of diaspora shahis who refuse to confront this reality.
Those women are also the 0.1% most people did not live like that. Still the case today most of the complaining Iranians online are the English-speaking elite (aka the 0.1%}
What that shows is freedom to choose your own clothes cause women don't wear less clothes just for the sake of wearing them, on beaches or in general a hot country what are women supposed to wear?
The dress code doesn't define a person as an extremist; it's their thoughts and ideas that matter. It's worth noting that this video focuses solely on the lives of women in Iran, which might give the impression that men are extremists. Religion and love for God should never be used as weapons. Why should women have to alter their lives and clothing for religious reasons? Where is the equality in this? Islamic women outside Iran who proudly choose to wear a hijab shouldn't advocate for it as a requirement, especially if they don't live in Iran." Lack of choice is slavery .
Heaven forbid we let women do anything outside of the house. That's why they have small feet. So they can stand closer to the sink. 🙃. Jk. I hope they find their freedom someday.
They wanted to be free from the Shah's brutal regime, but when they were finally freed from the Shah they were living under an even more repressive government. So sad.

I’m still shocked & still awaiting in which Quran it is written for females to be clad all in black & covered up … This IS a question being asked, at each opportunity I find, as of yet to be answered …
@leoniegureghian7156 Such a dress code isn’t in the Quran but instead comes from a place of not wanting to draw attention to oneself while also maintaining “God’s Kingdom on Earth” where jealousy, envy, fornication, etc are not readily visible in society. The 2nd century Christian Church Father explains it best in his book “Paedagogus:” “We must avoid any irregularity in the type of garment we choose. We must also guard against all waywardness in our use of them. For instance, *it is not right for a woman to wear her dress up over her knees,* as the Laconian maidens are said to do, because *a woman should not expose any part of her body...* I should like, too, not only that it be *forbidden them to expose their ankle,* but also that *it be made obligatory for them to wear a veil over their face and a covering on their head.”* … “Further, the man and woman each must come to the church dressed becomingly, with an unaffected walk... *Let the woman observe this further practise: Except when she is home, SHE SHOULD BE COMPLETELY VEILED, for her appearance will be dignified only when she cannot be seen.* She will never fall into sin if she always keeps modesty before her eyes, and *RETAIN HER VEIL,* nor will she lure others into an occasion of sin by baring her face.”
It feel so proud that im from India❤🇮🇳... Just by the appearance or looks one can judge any indian on the basis of religion... I have male as well as female friends from different religions and we all look similar we look like indians ... Here muslims can wear hijabs, kurta, jeans top, shorts, trousers, shirt pants, saree any thing not like other islamic country which restricsts women from freedom... Im not against islam or any other religion but when religion or rules make people bound to do even simple things then it become torture...

After the Islamic Revolution in 1979, when Ayatollah Khomeini deposed the Shah of Iran, 70-years of advancements in Iranian women’s rights were rolled back virtually overnight. Though things have been gradually getting better for women in Iran in the forty years since the Islamic Revolution, women’s rights in Iran still haven’t recovered even to the modest point they had reached prior to 1979. All married womens rights in Iran go to the husband now, doesnt seem free. Woman may attend school yet still adhere to the Muslim hijab rules that they may or may not agree with. Iranian woman now cant move around without husband permission, or older brother if not married or father, anyone but themselves. Woman have lost years of advancements due to the "revolution"

This is the perfect way to do a raw facts video. Though the thing with theie education seems to be worth a video on it's own
How does the Iranian education system teach it's children about it's rich history before Islam?
It does not. They just teach them about islam and the leader. When they came they destroyed and burned history books because those history books showed proof of the violence that islam is (historically).
They skip it. Iranians learn about their own history on the internet
Five thousand years ago the region now known as Iran had a religious system called - Zoroastrian - the world's first and oldest monotheistic religion.
With all due respect to Zoroastrianism and due respect to you, it was/is not essentially the oldest monotheistic religion of the world.@@ssstracener
You cant just blame it onto others like that, shure they played a part but the bigger part was in the decisions taken by the people Of the country
No blame the communist they always bitch about certain things and then when they get the change they want a fucking crumbles the communist literally let the ayatollah rule over Iran and let me tell you something you wanna know what the Islamic regime did killed every communist they got their hands on so yeah The communist party like always ruins everything for everybody
What a load of nonsense! Islamic people literally die for this crazy ideology.. too many fanatics!
As an Iranian I believe America an Britain are real satans.
As an Iranian I believe Amirica and Britain are great satanas of modern world.
It always annoys me when I point out how barbaric these places are, and people say that's not because of the religion, it's because their societies aren't as developed. It's like they are completely oblivious to the fact that the reason their nations aren't as developed is BECAUSE of Islam, lol.
3 cheers for the before. Loud boos for the after. Let's bring back the before.

@@SameerAbdullah-bb4ku Hello Abdullah

I missed seeing Iranian women in Calvin Klein jeans 😂
and they are so gorgeous
Those women are also the 0.1% most people did not live like that. Still the case today most of the complaining Iranians online are the English-speaking elite (aka the 0.1%}
What that shows is freedom to choose your own clothes cause women don't wear less clothes just for the sake of wearing them, on beaches or in general a hot country what are women supposed to wear?

The dress code doesn't define a person as an extremist; it's their thoughts and ideas that matter. It's worth noting that this video focuses solely on the lives of women in Iran, which might give the impression that men are extremists. Religion and love for God should never be used as weapons. Why should women have to alter their lives and clothing for religious reasons? Where is the equality in this? Islamic women outside Iran who proudly choose to wear a hijab shouldn't advocate for it as a requirement, especially if they don't live in Iran."
Lack of choice is slavery .

Why did the revolution happen to begin with?
Same reason every revolution happens. The masses are convinced that the rich are suppressing them, and their greed and envy get the better of them..
They wanted to be free from the Shah's brutal regime, but when they were finally freed from the Shah they were living under an even more repressive government. So sad.
Shah was more brutal,he even bulldozed the protestor who were against it ,can't let women wear anything freely
Shah father was same thing but sah wasn't only in term of wearing anything freely they both were dictator but at least they care about their country unlike Islamic regime we gone from bad to worth@@syedrafi2258

0:22 "aggressive modernisation" is the perfect phrase to describe it, banned the hijab, banned the fez, banned the turban, they punished every bit of culture in Iran
But now there's aggression forced on women so there's no difference basically there's no way that Islam can kill somebody just because they don't wear hijab and this is just a murder, a simple assassination that they cover with islam which is not even true to be so there's no balance.
@@blossommay5447 yh, effectively nothings changed for women in Iran, they just went from being aggressively stripped of their religion to having religion forced upon them, but ppl always make it out like life under the shah was perfect, it simply wasn't and tbh was just as bad as life under the IR

I’m still shocked & still awaiting in which Quran it is written for females to be clad all in black & covered up …
This IS a question being asked, at each opportunity I find, as of yet to be answered …
@leoniegureghian7156
Such a dress code isn’t in the Quran but instead comes from a place of not wanting to draw attention to oneself while also maintaining “God’s Kingdom on Earth” where jealousy, envy, fornication, etc are not readily visible in society.
The 2nd century Christian Church Father explains it best in his book “Paedagogus:”
“We must avoid any irregularity in the type of garment we choose. We must also guard against all waywardness in our use of them. For instance, *it is not right for a woman to wear her dress up over her knees,* as the Laconian maidens are said to do, because *a woman should not expose any part of her body...* I should like, too, not only that it be *forbidden them to expose their ankle,* but also that *it be made obligatory for them to wear a veil over their face and a covering on their head.”*
…
“Further, the man and woman each must come to the church dressed becomingly, with an unaffected walk...

The most important thing is for women to be naked in order to be sophisticated, hahahaha
