In the middle of programming a 11 e90 FRM and in the process control modules part I don't have a box for programming the only option I can select is encode and replace no other way to manually rewrite the FRM module..
I normally charge for tool strategies as I get into detail in the consultations but 2 main differences will influence your purchasing decision. One is that the Maxicom products are usually sold online only so your support will be limited. Also this is an international tool so there are certain online features you won't have access to versus a regular Maxisys Ultra . What I suggest is that you contact your supplierer to find out the difference or you can book diagnostic tool consultation so I can give you my recommended tool strategy based on the problems I discover in the consultation.
To be honest I am not sure. I would say no but I have seen some people say the im608 does have bmw programming. I normally just say the if you want bmw and benz programming stick with the ms909.
@@AutelConsultancy yea, I agree! I have maxisys elite, i live in eu and bought from official distributor, but elite has less functionality, best tool for MB & BMW is 909, dont like 919 bcs due to vmci and its not j2534
@@audriuskimtys7943 The ms919's VCMI is a J2534. It has 6 functions in one. Its an Oscilloscope, Multimeter, Wave waveform generator, Can Bus Tester, Vehicle Communication Interface, And J2534. This is the same VCMI used for this case study with the Ultra. No worries your tool is fantastic I just wanted to make a clarifications
Unfortunately, they are focused on transactions. Personally, I feel those platforms are doing a disservice to customers when purchasing high end tools. Did you have a bad experience?
@@AutelConsultancy I haven't, as I purchase from distributors that only sell to security professionals. DIYers aren't likely to drop $3K on an IM608 on Amazon, the problem is the $500 tool than is far too easily accessible to those who shouldn't be allowed to purchase such equipment, criminals with intentions to steal vehicles, in particular.
