Nathan Lincoln, I have the same question! I’ve meant to suggest Danny since this channel started but honestly didn’t feel comfortable giving him attention. I was a huge fan until I read more about why Intronaut let him go and how he reacted when they did. Highly recommend any fan of his or intronaut look into the main allegations against him, his seemingly very guilty denial of them, other similar stories that have popped up about him since.
Ben sharp creates all the music for cloudkicker himself, he programs the drums and plays every other instrument. When I heard he was going on tour with intonaut, who would be paying the cloudkicker songs live I immediately requested off for work, bought tickets, booked a hotel and drove 3 hours to Philly. Probably the best show I've ever been to, I absolutely love cloudkicker and never ever expected to see any of it live. Intronaut performed the songs perfectly. I was so happy to see cloudkicker get some exposure on this channel, keep it up Garrett, loving your content !
Saw them live a few years ago in Phoenix. Easily one of the best live performances I've been to. And props to Intronaut for playing two full sets of music that isn't exactly relaxing!
Ben's writing style is so textured & fun to listen to. I was at that Phoenix show too Intronaut really put in work that tour haha also yea it was TesseracT headlining back when Ashe was still in the band during the Altered State years.
Yesss! I remember Ashe yelled "sing with me motherfuckers!" And just jumped literally right next to me and started singing. INSANE! Cloudkickers discography is just ridiculous.

I've never heard anyone else play with such variety of rolls and fills as Danny on intronaut. There's not a single part that's uninteresting to listen to. Really shows on their latest album without him how good he is
@@arnaslangaitis9961 the drumming on the new record definitely isn't bad. it's incredible, in fact. Just lacks some of the character that Danny's playing really brought to the music. It's a bit choppier and flashier. But Alex's finesse is impeccable.

I think you picked one of the most iconic songs of Cloudkicker. That thing is so rad, it gave me goose bumps at first. "Beacons" is my favorite Cloudkicker album and "Push it way up!" is my favorite song.
This video is awesome! My best friend surprised me at my 23th birthday with a ticket for cephalic carnage, darkest hour and havoc. and danny was playing drums for CC. Holy shit! Everything was incredibly tight and superb performed. His snare-stand fell of the drum riser, but he played the high tom instead of the snare so well, anybody hardly noticed. I've watched many very good players, but he's outstanding. I mean, there was travis fucking orbin playing with darkest hour. Very impressive also. But Danny killed it like there'd be no tomorrow!
