D Raja, author and general secretary of the Communist Party of India, opened up about his and his party’s stance on Russia’s aggression, Ukraine, NATO and US imperialism.
In a conversation with The News Minute’s Sudipto Mondal for What’s Your Ism, Raja rhetorically asked, “Why is NATO spreading? Instead of confining to the north atlantic, why is it spreading everywhere? This is where we should understand the present imperialistic character?”
The politician - one of the tallest leaders of the Indian communist movement - also spoke about the implications of US imperialism for Asia and Marxism in the Indian context.

Neither Russia has the right to invade Ukraine nor NATO should fund Ukraine to fight wars with Russia. Russia and Ukraine deserve to be one country. But, all wars must stop for sake of humanity, ultimately innocents die on both sides.
What's UN doing? What's India's stand on such issues?

    D. Raja is quite off the mark. He talks about imperialists and expansionist NATO. Should Russia be allowed a free hand against Ukraine?

Not a fan of either the economic policies or the political alliances of countries like US & China but, some would say "What is the need or relevance of CPI, in Indian politics?" in equal measure. Where are your ethics and Marxist values today?
